Sounds like the Stanley Cup Final won't start until Wednesday, June 1. Meaning the ECF G7 winner still gets 4 days of rest. Weak.

I didn't even watch tonight's game. I'm still deflated. Who knows when I'll get over this.
I'll probably watch game seven though. My YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/gosjsharks14Comment

I figured they wouldn't start it on Memorial Day but don't see why they wouldn't just start it on May 31st, but only 1 day difference there.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Heh, funny how they make sure the conference champions get plenty of rest when one of them isn't Detroit...Comment

Wow that seems really far off, full week off for the Canucks have to worry if that is too much time (although it will benefit Kesler I'm sure, even though he played after his injury).

My best guess for the SCF schedule:
Game 1: Wed, June 1
Game 2: Sat, June 4 (NHL throws a sop to HNIC)
Game 3: Mon, June 6
Game 4: Wed, June 8
Game 5: Fri, June 10 (UFC 131 is in Vancouver on Sat the 11th)
Game 6: Mon, June 13
Game 7: Wed, June 15Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Yeah, no ****. DET wins in 5 & gets 2 days off and back-to-back G1/G2, BOS/TB wins in 7 & (probably) gets 4 days off, plus 2 days between G1/G2. Go figure.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. I don't know who I wanna see. Boston kind of pisses me off but I want to see them against Vancouver. I don't know if Tampa Bay will be able to continue it against VAN. Either way, I think the Canucks win it all.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Probably because NBC's currently highest-rated reality dreck ("The Voice") airs on Tuesdays. Also if the Heat win tomorrow, the NBA Finals probably start that night (they're airing Tue/Thu/Sun).

Re: The Official 2010-11 Stanley Cup Playoffs Talk Thread
I have no idea why the NHL continues to schedule Stanley Cup games on Friday/Saturday when they are the 2 lowest rated nights on TV. We are past Sweeps and the Fall/Spring TV season is over. The NBA/ABC doesn't schedule any NBA Final games on Friday/Saturday.Comment

Re: The Official 2010-11 Stanley Cup Playoffs Talk Thread
There were some Stanley Cup and NBA Final games on the same night last year.
Hardcore Hockey fans will watch regardless of what night it's on, but if I was in charge of the NHL, I would rather go head to head with the NBA if that means keeping the games away from Friday/Sat. Now of course the best solution is to avoid Friday/Saturday and NBA Final games but that would be hard.
You have a better chance of getting casual viewers Sun-Thursday.Comment

Nah, I wouldnt go up against the NBA. The NBA would always win out.Comment

Agreed. It sucks to go Friday-Saturday, but avoiding the NBA right now is the only way to get that viewer who is casual and otherwise has to choose.Comment

As a fan of both leagues, it would annoy the hell out of me if some games from both Finals were on the same night.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
