I missed all the action in the 2nd period...I went to make a sandwich, and when I got back, it took me a second to realize that 3 GOALS had been scored in the 4-5 minutes it took me to slap together some lunch....

The Canucks, even with the league's best PP, scored the grand total of ONE 5-on-3 goal during the 82-game regular season. Go figure. Strange series.

The Van/SJ series has been friggin' awesome so far. It's too bad the refs are blowing the whistles so much, but the teams aren't helping their cases either. Too many players are taking dumb penalties on both teams; the only difference is that Vancouver is making the most of their chances (as opposed to SJ's 5 PP chances in a row).

The highlight for me yesterday was Ballard's hipcheck on McGinn. He gave the guy a taste of his own medicine. I'd like to say the series is far from over but Vancouver is just playing better than the Sharks, and I see them winning the next game.

Whatever the case, the series has been entertaining. Oh and I can't stand both Torres and Eager. They should both be healthy scratches once playoff time comes.
