Didn't see the Versus feed, but I had to laugh at the NBC promo for the VAN/NSH Vs. game in which they wondered if the Predators could handle the "Sedin" twins (except they pronounced it Sedden, as in Wade Redden). C'mon, NBC dudes. I know Vancouver is in exotic, far-away KA-NA-DA, a whopping 40 miles from the US border, but you should be able to pronounce the names of the last two NHL scoring champions correctly if you're looking for hockey cred.Comment

Alright Predators!
We'll see if this was their consolation game or a sign of a long tough series beginning to unfold...NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Really glad the Preds won last night. I had a gut feeling that we'd lose it for some reason. Props to Rinnie for playing the game of his life last night. Now if we can just take the series lead 2-1 or even 3-1 I'll be very happy.Comment

This the Rinne save you guys were talking about?

Those 10 minute misconducts seem kind of useless if there's no 2 minute penalty with it.
Wow what a save by Howard.
These officals doing the Wings/Sharks are near as bad as UFC judges.Last edited by goh; 05-01-2011, 03:56 PM.Comment

Refs aside - this Detroit team simply isn't good enough. There's no hunger, no intensity, no desperation. Seems like unless it's Datsyuk or Helm, every single battle along the boards is lost.
The names are mostly the same, but this team looks absolutely nothing like the team from three years ago.Comment

This is infuriating. Six losses to this ****ing team over the past two playoffs, all by one goal, and yet it feels like they've just held us at arm's length the whole time.
Something needs to change in Detroit this offseason. They are very clearly a second class team in the West now.Comment

Luongo and Rinne both put on a show last night.
In the end, Rinne was just a little bit better.
Great defensive battle between the two teams, though I thought Nashville outplayed Vancouver this time. The series could easily go seven games.Comment
