                                I don't think that is a 5 minute penalty. But oh well. Back in the series, but both teams are scary on the Power Play!

                                            Looking at it again, I don't think it was a major. My opinion is since there was blood on the ice, the ref thought he had to call it that way.

                                                I'm a Canucks fan (duh), and I don't think McGinn's hit warranted 5 minutes. Eager's Game 2 hit on Sedin was far dirtier, but as usual, the refs are calling penalties based on the result, not the intent. If Rome wasn't hurt, it would've been 2 minutes. Conversely, if Daniel was hurt in Game 2, Eager would've been tossed and suspended. Conclusion: the NHL is dumb.

                                                    Isn't there an unwritten rule of not exposing your back or "keeping head on a swivel" when first heading into that area of the ice? Rome's fault.

                                                        Will be working during the game today so I'm hoping to catch a few minutes here or there if it isn't too busy (which means, with my luck, we'll be busy nonstop today for lunch) but here's to hoping for another good performance from the B's.
