This is the reason I don't worry about Crawford going back to yesterday, Niemi is on a good team this year (not as good as the Hawks last year) and he has allowed 4 goals to a team SJ shouldn't have much of a problem with.
Sure Crawford has struggled but he has less talent in front of him than Niemi does for the Sharks (our top 4 defensemen are big names but they haven't played nearly as well this year, so many breakdowns and lapses in communication where they end up leaving the goalie in bad positions) and hes facing the best team in the NHL and the Hawks have had chances to be in both games.
Niemi is a good goalie and still one of my favorite players in the league but I don't understand people who make it sound like losing Niemi is our big problem, Niemi would struggle with this years Hawks team at times like Crawford does.
