In game one the Sharks had the lead for most of the game. Sharks have more depth and last night that showed. Looking forward to the next game game and see how they come out and play. Also Joe had a great game in the face-offs and I live when he is driving to the net. That Seto OT happened because of Joe using his size and going towards to the net.

I hate missing great games. Can't believe the Sharks came back the way they did.
Hopefully the Coyotes can steal a victory tonight, but I highly doubt it. Bryzgalov has been absolutely awful all series, and the rest of the team isn't helping. The Wings are a very good team, but I think the possible move to Winnipeg is having a big effect on how the Coyotes are playing.Comment

The Sharks went to the west finals last year. So I don't understand with all this choke references. They played a team last year that had more depth than them and they were all close games. If they lose this series then people can say they choked, but after last year they proved they could move on in the Playoffs.Comment

I say refs because stats mention that no-one on the Wings have a - in +/- in this series. (PHX has no one in the +). So if they lose, it's sure as heck not due to lack of effort.Comment

Yeah, the Sharks should've shed that chokers label last year. They were definitely beat by a better team in Chicago even though the Sharks were the higher seed.
You can't get deep every year in the playoffs, it's unreasonable in this day and age. The Red Wings are the extreme exception to the rule. And even that may be coming down with almost all the old faces gone or going.
Once you hit the playoffs, all bets are off in my opinion. We all saw what Halak did last year, what Leighton did in the Conference Finals. Players, and specifically goalies, can get hot and there's not much you can do about it. The Flyers played a heck of a game in Game 1 of their series against BUF, but lost because Ryan Miller was on top of his game. I couldn't be mad at the team for losing that, that's just how it happens some times. I get angry when we let the game slip through our hands, not when the other team WINS the game.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Yes, maybe it is unfair to label them chokers because they haven't gotten to a Cup Finals yet, but they've been a legitimate contender for the past 5+ years.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Slickdc that was beautifully stated. I totally agree. Some times you have to give it to the other team. When they got beat by the Ducks I was not mad. The Ducks were better and had a cup already under their belt.Comment

Their chance was when they were a goal post away in OT against the Oilers. The Oilers went on to win that game and the next 3. Marleau, Michalek and Briener were un stopable. But it happens. I am just happy they make the playoffs every year.Comment

Rangers are going off, had a 1-0 lead didn't see how they got that goal, flipped over and Gaborik gets one off a faceoff then 7 seconds later Dubinsky adds a 3rd.
3-0 Rangers with 5:50 to go in the 2nd.Favorite Teams:
