Wow. 2 full minutes of 6-on-5 and PHX couldn't get a clean shot. Feel kinda bad for 'em. The fans I mean.

Well the season comes down to this one game for the Bruins. Claude the toad rolls out the same lines as the last 2 terrible games and refuses to play Seguin despite the B's having no offense and being terrible on the power play, 0-7 so far. Ryder straight up should not be playing, he has 2 shots on goal this series and has been useless all season. He's a FA after this year and there's no way he's coming back. I don't understand how playing Seguin just isn't an option he's played power play minutes during the season, he can skate, he's got a great shot he's just young. Their not winning the Stanley Cup this season so why not give him a taste of playoff hockey and hopefully make him that much better for next year.
Seidenberg is awesome btw.Comment

The Jets lost their last 6 postseason series, so the franchise will shortly be on an 0-for-13 streak (longest in NHL history). Overall, Winnipeg/Phoenix has made the playoffs 18 times and have two series victories (both against Calgary in the mid-80s). Shoulda never left the WHA.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Glad to see Boston finally decided to win a game. That Plekanec goal was terrible though.
As for the 3 "suspendable" hits, Seabrook should of had his head up. When you go into the corners you need to have your head on a swivel because you know it's more than likely someone is hauling *** down there. But at the same time I think Torres should have been suspended because it's a hit the league is trying to remove from the league.
Kunitz should be more than 2 games. That was ridiculously bad.
Downie should be quite a few as well. Guy launched himself clear as day.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Agree w/ BlueNGold on all the hits. My sentiments exactly.
Wings were good tonight - got the stranglehold game on the road. Want to see that old killer instinct come out and get this thing wrapped up in 4, so we can get our old legs some rest (and hopefully recuperate Zetterberg for the next series).
I liked Howard tonight; I normally consider him a 8/10 on the shaky scale, but he was strong all night and the 2nd goal was largely just unlucky (does Salei get credited for 2 goals tonight?).
Want to see this end Wednesday.Comment

My son and I were at the Pens-Lightning game last night. All I can say is...WOW! What an amazing atmosphere. It was deafening, and I don't think I've ever been to anything more amazing in my life (even tops when I was at an Ohio State football game for the band's Script Ohio).
Stamkos looks like a deer in the headlights... The kid just looks lost. Must say that Vinny has been impressive, moving better than I've seen in some time and Marty is, well, Marty...
I'm stunned by the Pens success...they are a blue collar team and I give them credit. They earned that game last night...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

You gotta' give Pittsburgh some credit for just coming out and punching Tampa in the mouth this series.
Tampa certainly has more skilled skaters, but gritty defense and good goaltending usually end up beating flashy offenses in playoff hockey.Comment

Yeah, the Pens are working hard. Props to Bylsma for that, he really has become quite the NHL coach. Doing this without Crosby & Malkin. Respect.
I don't know if they'll be able to get past a WSH or PHI, but what they've done without their two big stars has been nothing short of impressive.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds
