Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
I realize that Luongo is everyone's favourite punchline, but this isn't his fault. Terrible defensive coverage, no intensity, very few quality chances against Quick. LA's been the better team, pure and simple.
I'd still play Schneider in Game 3, if only to shame the rest of the Canucks into getting their **** together.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
It amazes me just what a total douche Kessler is shift in shift out. And Lou's deer in headlights look as his defense cartwheeled over him right before that wrap around to make it 4-1. Would love to see the Canucks done in a round. Entertaining first round so far, Boston wins a 1 goal game in overtime, the Pens blow two first period leads to drop 2 at home. Vancouver most likely does the same. I love playoff hockey.Comment

I'm a Kings fan and while I agree, I think Lundqvist will win, and deservedly so. Any other year one of these guys would be running away with the award , but with how similar their numbers are I understand giving it to Lundqvist.
Also I didn't realize how many shots Vancouver had. Quick ended up with 46 saves.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
NCAAF: Ohio State
NFL: Minnesota Vikings
MLB: Chicago CubsComment

Now 2 of the biggest Cup favorites are down 0-2 in their series....
Full credit to the Kings for being up 2-0. I'm disgusted with the Canucks right now. No heart and no hustle. Remember how we picked up Kassian at the trade deadline for his size in the playoffs, lol.
I also thought it was a bush league move by Burrows to go after Quick late in the 3rd period.
I've mentioned this before but Vancouver and Toronto are the 2 worst crowds in the league in terms of making noise unless they're instructed to by the videoboard.
I'm not ready to say the series is over but it looks really bleak right now.Comment

LA is simply more gritty, which is why I picked them to win.
Vancouver should focus on playing instead of flopping around. I love the guy who went down holding his head when he got slashed in the back.My YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/gosjsharks14Comment

No one's out of anything down 0-2. I know it looks bleak, but I'd be surprised if both Pittsburgh and Vancouver didn't show some mettle and push their respective series to 6 or 7....Comment
