Welp, do or die tonight. Flyers can go out with a whimper as they've done every game this series, or have the Giroux suspension and lose & it's over situation light a fire under their collective asses.

All I ask for is if they continue the series, win the whole damn thing. Don't delay the misery of letting a winnable Eastern Conference slip away, if that happens to be the case.

I said at the start this would be a 5 or quick 6 game win for the Flyers. That the Devils would skate with us but fold late. It's been the complete opposite, pretty much. Still waiting for the Flyers to flip the switch, and they've been good at doing so the last few years, so it's hard to abandon hope. But they've been just frustrating to watch this whole series. Can't get a lucky bounce, and we're compounding the problem by playing stupid. I can't tell you how many times our players couldn't handle a puck this series. It's like it's their first playoff game, every game.

For the love of God, please BENCH LILJA. Now I know what Psyblast was talking about... I'd rather have Manning or pretty much ANYONE else in there. Who's going for Giroux anyway? Rinaldo? I'm hoping Wellwood's continued hustle will pay off for the kid. He's the one guy out there who doesn't seem to be playing like a punk bitch.

yeah, a lot of situations like that for teams in the past. never did they celebrate like that. that was a winning the Eastern Conference type of celebration LOL.

There's no way this is the same Mike Smith that played for Tampa and Dallas

I think Sean Burke and Dave Tippett can turn any goaltender into a vezina candidate.

As for Lilja, I was happy to see him leave. Not as happy as I was when Brett Lebda left though (him signing with Toronto was the kicker). I'm still amazed we won a cup with a Lilja-Lebda 3rd pairing.

Once again, Wellwood can be counted on to bring his skating legs. The kid reminds me of Scottie Upshall when he first came to Philly. Putting pressure on the puck wherever it is.
