At the very least I hope this series spells the end of the Kessel/Seguin crap. And I'm happy after going 0-8 against Boston last year.
You never know, this is sports, people get reminded about stuff all the time. Maybe not in media and stuff but look at NBA draft, they always seem to mention Blazers and not drafting Jordan at the NBA draft each year when talking about big names not taken 1st overall.

But crazy to think Leafs-Bruins going to game 7. Leafs haven't done great at all in back to back games this year(big reason being that the team they face on 2nd day had the previous day off) so will be interesting to see what happens.

For every great play Filppula makes (like his setup in OT in Game 2), he either makes an asinine decision like tonight, or he just coasts along unnoticed. Not anywhere near the 4-5 million dollars he's going to ask for this summer. Not even close. I'd give him maybe half that.
Wrong. You get way too negative emotionally and it gets in the way of your common sense. Fil rarely makes bad plays which is why the game 6 one sticks out. It's true he doesn't have a great shot and has trouble finishing, but he's a very good two way player and you didn't mention anyone who would be available who would be an upgrade. Oh yeah, and he just scored a huge goal in game 7.

The fact that Uncle Gary allows back to back games to happen in the playoffs is one of the reasons why the NHL lags behind the other leagues professionally.

But I also remember NBA getting criticized abit for not having a single game on Thursday(this past Thursday) and some TV channels supposedly mad at that?

It was Friday, and that was also odd, but not back to back terrible. You want the players at their best for the quality of the product and playing back to back turns what should be the best hockey of the year into an endurance battle.

Do people think Bruins plane stuff will have any impact on how they play tomorrow? Or might they just come into the game tomorrow like nothing happened? Since I'd think this might mess up sleep or pre game skates.

I'm sure they'll be fine. They're an experienced hockey club.

Reimer was great tonight, but Jake Gardiner has been a revelation in this series, and has finally eliminated Mike Kostka from any future spot on the Leafs backend.

Hopefully it does. Hopefully they're terrible and lose at home 6-0.

I think Kostka has eliminated Kostka from any future spot lol.

lol, in fantasy world(aka NHL 13)

                        Leafs trade to Team X:
                        Rights to Gunnarsson,O'Byrne
                        Liles

                        Team X trades to Canucks:
                        Draft pick(s)

                        Canucks trade to Leafs:
                        Hamhuis or Bieksa

Like I said, fantasy world, cause it has -0% chance of happening.

I would so have rather had the Kings play the Ducks than the Sharks. Oh well at least they get 4 home games in the series now if it goes 7.

It's going to be a brutal series between the Sharks and Kings. I think the longer the series goes the better it is for the Sharks as the Kings have already played 6 hard fought games.
