Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
Canadian teams almost never host games on Thanksgiving Monday up here. Maybe it's something in the CBA to allow players on Canadian teams a "family day"? Can't imagine it's because there are CFL games.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Yeah it's bizarre that I have to watch the Sabres get annihilated during the day today. Start time threw me for a loop. Weird.Comment

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
Then how else should, lets say, an expansion team grow? If teams lose, and then get punished by not being able to shot at top talent in the draft, the franchise will never get anywhere. Losing has plenty of downside: it makes it tough to attract free agents, it hurts financially, it puts a strain on the casual fanbase, it can lead to stunted development of players and other ill effects. While I do agree that rooting for your team to lose is wrong especially at the beginning and for an entire season, there has to be a way for a bad team to get better other than throwing buttloads of money at free agents.Comment

About to leave for the Bolts game in a few. Can't wait. It's not much of a revenge but I really really would like an early W against Montreal.Gators|Cowboys|Lightning|Rays|Tottenham Hotspur

Tried watching Ottawa-Florida for a while, the Panthers are not very good...
