Still awaiting that elusive PP goal, I see. Haha.

Well, we scored more goals tonight than we've given up all season, so I guess that's something.

Went to my first NHL game last night. First NHL goal witnessed in person: Crosby. Not bad.

I'm going to have hit up Bridgestone again some time.

Looks like we got another one folks.

No one goes to just one NHL game their whole life.

            NFL - Buffalo Bills

My brother and one of his buddies made the trip down from Pittsburgh, and I met them in Nashville. We're already talking about me making a trip to Pittsburgh for a game later this season.

So yeah, my first NHL game won't be my last.

Just got back from Jets/Avs. Great game with some tense moments both ways. It was nice to not only see the Jets score more than one goal, but also to come away with the W. I however was disappointed that it didn't seem like Mackinnon, Duchene or Landeskog were really noticeable. (Which in a sense is a good thing if they're quiet)

The attorney for Voynov, and his wife's attorney are both claiming no crime was committed and whatever happened was an accident. His wife also didn't want him to be arrested. I hope this is true, not for the kings sake but for the woman involved. I would hate for her to be in an abusive situation and just accepting and allowing it to continue.

Not to say it isn't true but that happens a lot in abusive situations, obviously only they know what really happened and hopefully this is the case.

Russian WAGs would be particularly vulnerable, I'm guessing. Foreign country, don't speak the local language well, completely dependent on the athlete husband/boyfriend for income & resident status. Certainly lots of potential for an abusive situation. Hopefully that's not the case here, but nothing would surprise me.
