11 games into the season, and the Wild have just as many goals on opponent's PPs as they do their own, 2.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Uuhh, ok...
So, the Wild scored a goal, but it got waved off, because one of the Pens players (almost) stopped it before going over the line.
They review it, and come back saying there was goalie interference on the play. But, that wasn't called on the ice.
The ref then says it is not a reviewable play. Buuut, you just reviewed it.
So you can review a play to CALL it, but not overturn it???

Sharp going to be out "for a bit" per Coach Q, clarified that means weeks not days.
Curious to see who gets the shot, if they go with someone who was up last year like Nordstrom/Regin or if Carcillo gets shifted to LTIR and they go for a Teravainen/McNeill/Danault.`Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

I wouldn't hold my breath on Teuvo. Q doesn't seem to be a big fan.
I'd guess Regin or Nordstrom."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
I really dislike allowing skaters to stand in the crease and play goalie when the goalies down and out.
I'd like to see a rule where if anyone blocks the puck, while being in the crease, it's an auto-goal.
It's hard enough to score.
Plus, if opposing players aren't allowed in there, then neither should defenders.
Sort of like the 3-in-the-key rule the NBA adopted for both sides.Comment

So last night after the Wings/Sens game there was a rumor/report that paramedics and a stretcher were sent to the Wings locker room after the game. I haven't heard anything about it since then...Anyone know more about this?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
It seems that for this season, the refs have been told to call goalie interference in any case where a player is touching the goalie and they have a skate or body part in the crease.
I understand that as you want to keep the goalies safe and make sure they're not fair game.
But I'd like to see it go both ways. If the goalie is down and out, or wants to wander, then he's on his own.Comment

Who are their other options? Serious question.
Fleury's meltdowns are infamous, but I don't know if the Pens would've done more with a different goalie in net with the way the rest of the team is built.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

They're paying 5.75M per year for an average goalie. I would have went with a cheaper route for an average goalie.
Sucks when it matters the most.

Jeez, Detroit is getting hammered.Originally posted by XXstormmXXThe reason I always root for multiple teams is because if one team doesn't make the playoffs or gets eliminated, I loose interest in the sport until next season if my team gets eliminated early.
