I like it, he seems like a very good 3rd line center. This also allows us to have Haula playing 4C, which is a matchup nightmare for the other 4th lines in the league.

We have a deep prospect pool, the picks are expendable. The time is now to make a run at the Cup; this is the best chance we've ever had. This is a gamble, definitely, but I like it.

The size of all the centers is ridiculous.

Anyway, Granlund's goal tonight to end OT was one of the just wow plays I've seen anyone make so far watching hockey.

Shattenkirk to Washington. Wow. What a trade. I guess it's prolonging the inevitable Shattenkirk signing in NY but oof, massive get for the Capitals.

Sell-off is on in Detroit (and rightfully so). Brendan Smith to the Rangers for a 3rd-rounder this year and a 2nd rounder next year. On the heels of sending Jurco to the 'Hawks for a 3rd rounder this year.

Vanek and Ott left to go, not that I expect any real return for Ott. It should not be that difficult to end up with the 4th overall pick heading into the lottery.

I think we discussed this before, but typical Ducks garbage started before him and continues after him.

Tough West road trip continues for Leafs......Kings followed by Ducks. Back to back nights, and neither of them play day before or after their game vs Leafs because that's how NHL schedules majority of teams back to backs.

And to top it off, Sens get the easier kind of back to back. They have 2 instances coming up where it's an old school back to back home and home. That's what I've been saying forever that all teams should have.
