Originally posted by djepI'd be down for a tourney. I just recently bought this game and I'm totally addicted. I know someone else who would be into joining a tourney.

Add me to the list. I've limited my Advanced player to 25 attribute points for challenge purposes, but I'd like to play in a tournament under any terms.Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Having said that... I'm still amazed at the graphics and overall gameplay that Links 2004 provides. I prefer its graphics to any golf game I've played, PC or console (and that includes Links 2003). I don't see how you could improve on it visually on the XBox, although I do think there are some gameplay tweaks and options that could make it a better game. Still, it gets regular play on my XBox and is certainly the most enduring game I have on that system.... slightly edging out TOCA 2.Duke Football? I've been having a crazy case of the hooks recently. One round I'll think I have it all figured out; next round I can't get a drive on the fairway or my clubhead speed drops to under 100 MPH. I'm finding this game to be a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. Great, great game....Comment

If you'll notice, there's a swing arc being "painted" by the clubhead as you take it back. If the color of that path becomes blue or yellow, it means you're taking the clubhead back outside or inside the optimum swing plane. I'll stop my backswing and start over when I see this happening. Of course you can still get outside the path on the downswing, and that's a little bit harder to detect, and stop. I tend to shank balls wildly out to the right on occasion. It's really freaky when it happens because it doesn't feel like I've done anything that wrong with the swing. I love the game though!Duke Football?
