Yeah the grid off actually was my mistake, and I personally don't think it is a good thing to have it off, so unless someone else asks for it we sill have it always on.

I think for one daily we should make it the hardest thing in the world. Expert swing, no grids, no meters black tees expert pin placement, but no wind lol.

Green grid should always be on in my opinion.Reading greens is a big part of golf & game is unrealistic if you cant read greens.I certainly dont mind a bit of wind because where I play my golf it is pretty rare to have a totally calm day.I would urge everyone to try & get used to this game without meters,so much more rewarding :wink:

My only "problem" with no-meter is that the games get longer, because now you have to practice your swing before each play, which is awesome btw, I'm all for realism but is not convenient when you don't have much time to play a full 18 holes, specially during the week.

But yeah let's go for it at least twice or 3 times/week.

Anyone know when the loyalty bonus 'day' is? I though it was 12 eastern, but I couldn't fit in 2 games around 9pacific...

Hum, I always thought it was 12 Eastern too...

Anyway, guys, our first no-swing meter tournament is ON!!!! It will be a Daily @ Valhalla with the following settings:

Winds CALM
Tee BLACK
Flagstick HARD-1
Swing HARD
Everything else but Grid, OFF

Let me know what you guys think. If this is too hard we can try Swing NORMAL, or Flagstick MEDIUM-3

Good settings. Front=Night and Back=Day. Shoot -3 front and even par on the back. Normally use meter when I play, but I've played it so much, that no meter allows me to feel my putts. Looking forward to playing a daily at Blackwolf Run in the future. About 400 coins short of getting Emerald Dragon and having all the courses.

how do you do your putting with no meter? That seems to be the hardest part for me.

Putting with no meter is all feel and lots of practice.

Great settings today for the daily.Really enjoyed battling for a level par round on a tough course.Good scoring from everybody,very compettitive

As for putting without meter,you need to use imaginery meter.I use the right foot of my golfer,IE-putter back just inside big toe for short putts,little toe for longer putts.Very long putts are tough but that is like real golf.Just keep taking practice strokes & check the feedback HUD.Anyone with collectors edition,the practice facility at Augusta is the place to head :wink:

yeah i couldn't putt to save my life today, no meter for putting was the problem for me. think i averaged 1.8 putts per hole which was pretty brutal, fun tourney though that's for sure.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the daily today.

Just to let you guys know, a 7-day weekly has just been added with METER, and hard swing.

I'm adding a new Daily which starts tomorrow 03am EDT, and this one will be a NO-METER, HARD, CALM

Keep the feedback coming...

BTW, I would like to know, from the guys that are playing the Tournaments, do you all have the Collector's Edition? I'm asking because If you all have the CE, we can create tournaments with the extra courses.
