Any clue what may happen if this occurs while playing a round in the tourney?? Am I basically screwed or will it let me restart??

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Unfortunately .... you're screwed. You can restart, but that fist incomplete is the only one to count. It's unforgiving, but prevents people from pulling the plug after every bogey, I suppose.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Yes that would be unfortunate, but understandable !!! I like the concept of controlling the "disconnect degenerates". I'd rather that happen to me than some lamer getting his stats and ranking increased through CHEATING !!!

I'll just say a little before each round I guess

Man I hate St. Andrews on a windy day. I guess a 3 over par is respectable. I had 5 birdies and an eagle. That just shows how pathetic I was on the other 12 holes. I was actually 9 over at one point. I'm pretty happy I was able to salvage the round. Good luck to everyone else.

First rule of OS Links Tourneys: "Never say you hate St. Andrews"!! We will always pay homage to this wonderful course in each tourney, get used to it!!" Plus, I've actually played the course and it doesn't help me here!

Fsquid, saw that you have actually played St. Andrews before. In your opinion, how close is the game version to the actual course ??

Also, one last question concerning the tourney .... are we using the custom made golfers that we have created or can we choose whomever ??

Just covering this one last formality before I completely embarass myself in the first round....

                  Thanks bro

Its very close to what is in real life. I played it in '94 and that was about the same time that Links bought the rights to put the course in the game. I love how basically you are playing that last hole in the middle of town!

Thanks for your first hand insight on the course. How about my other question concerning the golfer to use for the tourney ?? Created or premade.....or does it not matter ??
