I'm with Fetter on this one. Bad weather doesn't make gold better opr more challenging ... it's just a different game. It requires a different set of course management skills, but not superior ones.

In many cases, the wind is rewarding players with more points, especially in driving. In a 26 MPH headwind, a long par 4 is tough to do unless you have a lot of driving power.

Also, the fact the wind doesn't vary too much makes it a bit boring. Were the wind gusting, where some holes were at 9 MPH and some at 26 MPH ... that'd be more interesting.

you know, as recently as a week ago i wouldnve like my chances in high winds, i was playing well in those conditions......then the calendar turned to THIS week, and i cant get anything done, irregardless of the conditions....weird, im in a "slump", or at least i hope thats what it is LOL

I played a consistent 2 rounds, +25 each, it was fun though. I'll get some practice in before OS Tourney #3.

Well I negated my solid first round by smacking the ball all over the place in the 2nd round. I had all kinds of problems. Dealing with the wind, and rain (slowing down my putts), and my stroke seemed a bit off just couldn't get anything going.

I think having bad weather on some tourneys is good, just not all of them.
