I guess the genie is out of the bottle, but apparently he's not too concerned about it.

interesting that he also gave away the OFFline max player code.

Tough to say how it will effect online play now.

Personally I hate the whole concept of building up your player.

Just make several character models with varying degrees of skill and everyone is on the same level all the time and golf skill will be all that matters.

I understand the reasoning behind building the character (increasing play value offline) but I just don't like the whole varied skill level stuff.

Let's ALL play on even footing.

I was just playing my career today.
I played the heads up championship on pro tour and after I beat the guy a DDE came up. I was pissed. I thought I would have to beat him again and get the 250 g's.
Well I turned my XBOX back on and I had the money but it didn't register the win. So I guess I stumbled upon this glitch unknowingly. I was just about to post about what happened until I read that thread.
Online play will never be the same in my eyes. I guess I'll just stick to the select few that I know are truthful Links players.

I really don't think it will make that big of difference. It seems you kind of hit a wall in ability around 60 or so. I don't see a big difference in capability between by 41 and their 70+ players. I can still score just as well as they can.
