I was playing Blackwolf in my career mode, went into the drink at 16, instead of getting the horrible drop you did, it placed my ball green side without a penalty for the hazard.

Went -2 in the daily yesterday, I think....

Hit it into the water on 16, got this for a drop..


Bet his back was killing him after that shot.

I had a frustrating round in the daily yesterday. Finished -4 under, which is good but, I had 2 double bogies so I feel like I should have been -8. I love that course though, some great risk/reward holes. One of the doubles was my a risk that didn't pay off. On the par 5 16th, I had a tough angle to the green for my 2nd shot, wind at my back at 12mph. The ball hit at the top of that tall wall next to the green and went into the water. If ti had flown another yard in the air it would have been perfect and a shot at eagle. Drop put me at the bottom of that tall wall so I had to hit 150 yards back down the fairway. The other double I was actually trying to play it safe but I guess I didn't hit a great shot and combined with the wind my ball found the water.

It looks like #16 at Blackwolf caused a few of us problems.

Later last night I played the first round of the weekly (I only saw 1 weekly I could play) at Pinehurst. I had been awful on that course this weekend in the daily. I went out and made everything. I was -12 going into 18. I hit a great drive, my 2nd shot was into the wind so I clubbed up and I hit it pin high, on the right edge of the green and it must've hit a mound because it shot forward and just kept rolling and rolled right through the crowd surrounding the green and out of bounds. I ended up with a double. Crappy way to end a great round. I won't complain about -10, but couldn't somebody have stuck their foot out and stopped my ball? It wasn't even a bad shot!

That's why there's 160+ pages of us pissing and moaning over our scores, LOL.

I've been playing these settings since launch, I haven't even tried a practice round with easier settings yet and I should, just for a three or four holes, just to see what it's like.

The game has some warts, but overall it plays a really good game of golf.

I thought moving to these settings would be frustrating, but the opposite happened. Im interested to see how other guys are doing and what scores are being shot.

I put a solid front nine together in the daily, shooting a 7-under. I followed that a Birdie on every hole on the back nine, one of which was a hole-out from the rough on the Par 3 17th. I'm pleased with finishing up at 16-under on the day.

Does this ever happen to you guys?

Happened to me late in my first round of the Weekly tournament. I wasn't doing that great to begin with, but that lead to a double bogey and completely ruined my round.

to the -10 leader on today's daily.

Ended up -3 after going -4 in the final 3 holes. Is everyone experiencing the high mph wind? Probably about 10 of the 18 holes for me had 20mph wind in various directions, most of the time coming back at my face. All of other holes had anywhere from 13mph to 19mph going left to right or right to left. Made approaches a nightmare. Sitting in 4th place for now, so I'm slightly happy with my round.

Yep, the winds are whipping around for me in the past few days of Breezy and Windy conditions.

I just finished my first and second rounds of the weekly. In the first round I shot 1-under. My approaches were terrible, and I had the swing bug on 17 that caused my two smack it out of bounds for the double.

On the second round, I got off to a fast start with a hole out for Eagle from long distance on the second hole. I followed that up with an Eagle on the Par 5 fourth, and I kept my momentum going to the tune of eight Birdies over the rest of the round, shooting 12-under overall. I'm rendering a video of the whole round, with the holes I didn't "score" on cut out. I'll edit this with the link when it's uploaded.

I wanted to post that I quit the daily last night and played it today at lunch. My reason for quitting last night was that my dogs got into a fight and were both injured and resulted in me getting blood all over me. Stupid dogs. Anyway, I had played the first 3 or 4 holes but had to turn it off to tend to the dogs and my bloody knees. (Kodiak was finishing his last couple holes as I was starting).

I played during my lunch break and birdied the final 3 holes to shoot -9 and tie Kodiak. UKCats was on the course ahead of me and I think he shot -6. I love Valhalla. I'll be out of town this weekend so I was trying to get in as many of our rounds as I could.
