Well, just finished the weekly and shot a personal best -10 for the tourney. As someone else said, I think things are finally clicking and coming together. Believe I shot under par in 3-4 of the Dailies this week. Approach shots have significantly improved, as well as my putting. No longer missing putts by feet. Either coming up short just by inches, or sliding over the side of the cup.

Happy to see I'm improving. Now watch next week, the wheels will fall off.

I still have one more round to go in the weekly. I think I need to shoot -11 or -12 to overtake kodiak. Gonna give it my best shot.

Edit: Got my final round of the weekly in after my buddy stopped by and we played a few rounds locally. Ended up shooting -11, which was good enough to end up in 1st by a stroke. If I had tied kodiak, his tiebreaker score would have destroyed mine. I find that I've been hitting my swing planes with more consistency lately, especially when I add a little bit of draw to the default draw that's there automatically. Everyone is dialing stuff in really well!

nice luck!! lol just kidding whatever I haven't been playing as much lately. Moved and just haven't had much time. But saw your video and couldn't help but wonder on your driver off the tee it showed like 290 something. I only show 280 off the tee. I wondered why people always outdrove me by a mile. What setup do you have? Im power golfer. What club you use etc? Mine on the driving range will show that distance sometimes. I must have some glitched out equipment lol. I mean your showing 15 yds more than me off the tee. Id appreciate your setup to see if mine will change. Thanks.

Really? I'm over 300 alot. And with wind and down hill rolls can hit 310-340+ depending.

He is using an 11.5 degree driver, if you were to change that to say an 8 or 9 degree you'd hit it even further. So if you're using the default 11.5, use something with less loft and you'll hit it further. You'll sacrifice distance off deck, but it's worth it.

I use an 8.5. But Im showing 280 he shows 295. I still hit drives over 300

There was a great deal of luck involved, for sure! I haven't been holing out as much in these tournaments with Average course conditions, so it was surprising to see that more difficult one drop.

I'm pretty sure that if you change from Carry distance (which is default) to Total distance in the options, you would see a similar distance off the tee. That's what I did. I've never used Carry, in all my years of playing Tiger, so it was something I changed the first time I booted up the game.

I'm a Power, Draw, High Trajectory golfer, and I usually rank behind you, kodiak, and a few others in driving average. I use the Nike Tour clubs or something like that. The club head for driver is fire engine red. In my opinion, they look like the best rated clubs.

Edit: In terms of what clubs I'm using, I haven't gone "in the bag" a single time this year, so whatever the default selections are, that's what I'm using. Maybe I should try out the lower degree drivers and see how I like 'em.

That sucks dude. Luckily, I haven't had a freeze since the first round I attempted after the patch. Keeping my fingers crossed that the streak continues. There's nothing more frustrating than a mid-round freeze.

The beach has its perks! Had to be plenty of attractive women out on this holiday weekend. I've found that taking a few days off definitely takes a toll, for me. My swing becomes a bit [more] erratic. Hope you're able to shake any potential rust off quickly, you were going quite low, last I remember!

Finished -17. I've never played that good before, I think every approach was within 10 feet or less. Just in the zone tonight I guess.

Nicely done man! Some rounds you just can't miss and everything seems to be clicking!

I just finished the 5/28/13 daily at Bethpage Black. Ended up with -8, one Bogey on the Par 3 17th, and several putts missed on the edge of the cup. I seem to really struggle with hopping between course conditions this year. If I had this much trouble going from Average to Fast, I'm really not looking forward to getting back to Tournament speeds. Eek!

Kodiak seemed to get hot on the back nine and finished up with a -10, I think. He was still on the course when I was finishing up. Not sure if he had finished 18 or not. Nice shooting!

Continuing my love hate relationship with this game. Sometimes I want to give it a big bro hug and other times I want to punch it in the face.

When you watch putts going into the center of the hole a foot away and they veer off or go over the hole cellophane bridge style it is f-bomb inducing, lol. I must look like an idiot on the couch late at night by myself cursing at my television.

Went to high trajectory for the four rounder lol big mistake when not used to it!! Like playing a whole different game compared to medium.
