Hit the ball lower to get it to stop. Higher produces top spin which will make the ball roll.

You can also change your stance by moving the swing stick before the shot to give you a higher trajectory with the lessened distance......

You mean flick stick down quickly on backswing? Golf terms and golfgame terms are confusing me...

No, flick it quickly on the downswing...same term for both IRL Golf and videogame Golf....

I was confused too, but I understand what you are saying. It's confusing because when you say downswing on the "game" and you are pulling down on the swing stick, you tend to equate those terms, but actually that is the backswing, the downswing is the 2nd part of the swing.

I would try to clarify by saying on the "game", we would think of this as an "upswing", I guess. You are saying, on the 2nd part of your swing, you should try flicking it for the power swing.

I may have confused people more, sorry guys. LOL.

Yeah well I cannot make perfect or fast downswing with full strokes no matter how quickly I flick the stick or what kind of shaft I'm using. I can easily make perfect or fast stroke with straight swing though.

Is it possible to see the leaderboards in the CC on the 4 round tournament? I can't figure out how to get there.

Go to the tourney like you are going to play it, then click Y for more info and scroll to the leaderboard.

It's currently a mess due to scoring bug...look at my score as an example, LOL. The score per round is correct, the total score is wrong.

I love these country club tournaments. I never really messed with them last year. I played very focused on today's daily. Left a couple putts out there and made a bogey on 18 or I would have shot -9. Love that course. Maybe if -8 holds up ill finally win one.

Nice round, I found couple of trees again and missed lots of putts. But I'm actually learning to read these greens without grid, almost feels like I read them better when the grid is not there anymore...

Without the grid read, are you judging the greens by sight or by the stats that pop up when you look down at the ball. I'm doing the latter and it is downright killing me.

Both. I check above/below feet reading first but more important information from the line I get by just looking at it and in my opinion the best view is when I address the ball.

Depending on how you have your setting will determine the strike meter. I have mine set to RS for swinging and LS for the strike meter.

If you hold the strike meter below the ball you'll get under that ball causing back spin.

Both. I check above/below feet reading first but more important information from the line I get by just looking at it and in my opinion the best view is when I address the ball.

This has thrown me off at times. Is it the ball or hole that is above/below the feet. I've seen even but there's clearly a slope left or right.

The real problem is it doesn't let you sweep the camera. So you have nice sharp clear vision for about 10 feet and then its just blurry.

So how do you handle the longer puts of 20+ feet because its so hazy I can't even identify where the hole is.

I've done photography for years so I understand the value of depth perception and why they blur the background but I just can't seem to get this aspect of the game dialed in.


....or maybe more accurate putting comes later as you level up. I'm sitting around a level 40 and just can't seem to get consistently below a +5 or so.
