    E3 2015

I'd have to imagine we're not going to see anything major that's new until E3, so what do you expect to see/want to see from RM at E3? Personally, I just wanna see uncut on camera gameplay footage.

    Re: E3 2015

With E3 starting Tuesday, (or Monday, idk)... I'm looking for TWO things I hope we get from RM. Other than at least one or two gameplay vids, I wanna see the complete roster, and complete course list that'll be offered. (Hell, maybe even with short vids showing each one off (like those 20-25 sec preview vids when they announce something new) that'd be sweet.)

im hoping for some offscreen footage. but with it being golf im assuming a lot of the sport people will be focusing on madden. It sounds like they will be revealing something as they keep telling people on twitter to "stay tuned for full roster/course reveal"

        Re: E3 2015

As for the press conferences, I do not expect a single bit of information or video that will actually mean anything substantial. Nothing. It's a bunch of spin coming from taking heads and trailers.

I'll be looking for bloggers and journalists to provide some real information about how games play. I hope to see some hands-on impressions form people I think I can trust, but even that is doubtful. If the some of the OS writers get to play the game and post impressions, I will find that interesting and useful.

But seriously, I'm an EA Access subscriber. I will get my most useful information when the game drops. I just wish it was going sooner. This late into summer really bites. I'm jonesing for some real next gen golf. Powerstar was fun, but I'm ready for something less cartoonish.

I've come to terms with the mid summer release. I mean I'd rather have a polished game at launch than a bugged/glitched nightmare if they rushed it. As far as the press conference I'm almost certain it will be all fantasy course crap, as most of the casual golf gamers will be watching.

Highly unfortunate because I'm being opposite here, I wanna hear about the legit golf news; all the fantasy course and fantasy info has NO INTEREST showing from me. (Will I play it? Maybe just as a change of pace since it's being offered....) but I'm a golfer, I wanna know about the GOLF news... NOT battleship course news...

Im hoping I'm wrong. They'll probably do it to show off frostbite. Like you I'm hoping for what real courses they have. I don't think we'll have the full list, heck just a number will do for now. Little worried this game will only have like 10 real courses and five fantasy ones.

If they learned anything from the last time they opened up on a console (TW06 for PS3/360), they will have a good number of offerings.. TW 06 only had like 5 or 6 courses. (Isn't there at least if not more already confirmed for RM here?)... Hopefully we'll have a decent number of options. I mean, what was the point of delaying RM a full year, AND THEN again another month past THAT scheduled release, if they're gonna offer us minimum content? IF that's the case, I'm going to be HIGHLY disappointed.. but I think it'll be good.

RM was never "delayed" a full year. EA never intended to release a Golf game the first year of the new consoles. They also never released an official release date until July 14th came out. They had a end of June 2015 target, but found they needed some extra time to polish the game and some of the online play modes. I sure as hell prefer delaying this game and spending more time polishing BEFORE release than after.....

Well, if you wanna be technical about it.

I'm betting there won't be much more than an off-hand mention of fantasy courses. When they did the Battlefield course reveal last year, it got nothing but negative reactions. I think the spin will be on Rory and the beautiful courses. They will emphasize the three ways to play, and the online modes.

Ea's Twitter posted a preview pic of their press conference of a course that is pretty obvious a fantasy, so looks like there going to go that route.

EA LOVES to disappoint their fanbase who can actually give them $ at will, and cater to the little kids and arcadey type players who need permission to shell out $. I dont get it. Don't misinterpret me, I bet there is a few guys out there who are legit players and want GOLF news who are also interested in FANTASY news... but come on, how big a percentage for real? This is my stance..... if they wanna go the fantasy route, then fine.... as long as they have the true stuff in there too then I'm cool with it.. But if ALL they do is fantasy and NO true stuff.... it'll be a tragic presentation.
