Not sure if it'll be "tragic" that maybe stretching it a bit. But yea it'll really be disappointing if that's all that comes out of e3. Almost willing to put down money that the demo on the floor will be a fantasy. Maybe sawgrass as well but not looking good. i don't ever remember them putting this much emphasis on these courses in years past.

Re: E3 2015
Anyone else find it odd that a month before release, we haven't had more than about 5 seconds of gameplay video that was in a 30 sec trailer. if they don't show a substansial amount tomorrow and instead do more of these still images of courses, then I think everyone needs to worry. What's the point of showing these various hole by hole pics if you aren't able to see what it actually looks like when you play the game?
At this point I just want some gameplay vids, and something more than 10 seconds long. I would be shocked if we got any more constructive info for the other modes. I expect more pretty pics from 1 or 2 new courses and EA gloating about how pretty everything looks. Thier motto should be "Don't worry about how it plays, just admire it."
It's like the biggest news lately is showing us a handful of licensed golfers that no one is going to use and that we are allowed only 1 try per online tourney.
If all the news is fantasy related courses tomorrow, then why do they even bother with the PGA license. Make an arcade game where you can shoot through waterfalls and bounce off a cactus and don't pretend it's an authentic sports game and give some one else a chance with the PGA license.Comment

Video's are short because EA do not want to show what happens in between shots.................until tomorrow.Comment

Re: E3 2015
All this doomsday talk, call me crazy, I think this game will be fine. If you asked me if I trusted EA's brand of golf back in the 06-09 years on 360/PS3, I would say no and I'd be concerned. But starting with 10 and especially with 11, they have put out an entertaining game of golf and with the right settings, a tough challenge.
I still play 13 and enjoy the heck out of it and I have no reason to think RM won't be a solid title. People can denounce the importance of graphics all they want but its a large part of why we spend as much money as we do on the latest and greatest systems. This game looks incredible in still shots and the few videos there have been, look awesome.
It makes the whole experience more enjoyable, even more so in a golf game, where the courses are such a huge part of the story and mystique and romance of the sport. I'm looking forward to whatever they have to show at E3 and quite frankly, when I have buddies over to play a round or three, we often pick the fantasy courses and have a blast laughing at each other's misfortune and I'm as hardcore as it gets when it comes to this sport.

Re: E3 2015
Yeah, if they come out firing tomorrow and give us solid news, and solid gameplay videos, and substantial goodness I'll be happy and ok... If it's fantasy talk, and pictures, and not much in the way of proving anything.... then yeah, I'll be worried.. (and upset to a degree).Comment

Good Lord....RELAX folks. It is a video Golf game. We will keep getting snippets of info til July 14. Can't judge a book by its cover, so let's not turn on the gas before we have a chance to play the game and see what it plays and looks like......PC / Xbox One X

Re: E3 2015
And it's over. So disappointing. So nba, madden, and NHL got more stage time. What happened to Rory???? Wow at least last year we got a trailer. This year, just the same still shots we've see the last two months. The sad part is they told us to keep watching. And I say again, what a joke.Last edited by jbd345; 06-15-2015, 04:32 PM.Comment
