I will say this though.. Now that the E3 conference has come and gone.... and we got basically nothing on Rory; EA now HAS to start throwing info on the internet like fire now in order for ANY kind of confidence to be restored in the game.... They didn't capitalize on allowing themselves to sell their own product, now thy have to throw the info out there and HOPE the fans interpret the info in a positive light... Backwards marketing if I've ever seen it. But that's EA for u.

I guess I'm just annoyed or rather feel deceived into watching that. By the looks of it, it's clear they had something planned. That is not Peter Moore in the screenshot on their Twitter and facebook at least it looks more like a dev team member. Starting to wonder if they got scratched at the last minute in favor of more star wars.

I think if they were truly trying to hide something, they wouldn't put up RM on Early Access. If sometime between now and release they announce it will no longer be eligible for that program, I'd pull my pre-order. If it stays, we'll have a few days to watch streams and read people's impressions.

The part that's disappointing is I'm very excited for this game and just want to see more of it. Something to hold me over until release. Hopefully they let people play it on the show floor and we can get some feedback.

I will say my excitement for this game has gone downhill drastically. Really considering pulling my preorder. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt though. I've seen that preview, the reporter definetly gives a negative vibe towards the game. Really hope it's more than just those courses.

Yeah... the devs (or better yet EA in general) would have to realize that since they're even making the game game in the first place, there's going to be excitement around it and hype for it. What's the sense in making a game, but not spending a lick of time in promoting it? You'd think they'd want to get a new game out there for everyone to see and buy.... I mean first golf game on new consoles.... it's almost like it's a new IP. I dont and not sure I ever will understand EA's marketing paradigms.

There's still 2 or so days left to E3... if there's no info by the end, then I'd show concern.... (they could just be spotlighting Rory instead of packing it in will the rest of their offering)... BUT if there's no info by the end of week.. it'll be sad affairs.

There u go... use the Open championship to hype the release, but use the US Open to hype the pre release. IDK, but they gotta throw us SOME type of bone.

At the end of the day it is what it is. I think we can all agree we feel deceived in thinking we were more than just 10 seconds of gameplay. That I think is the real issue here.

Not to be a debbie downer, but night club is still fantasy based... I wanna hear legit golf news from real player roster and real courses, and I just want REAL. lol

Don't hold your breath. It would be nice if EA just dropped the PGA license and make a full blown arcade game and stop pretending this is a PGA game. Let someone else have a crack at making a licensed PGA game that actually replicates the sport. There's another game maker I could think of that could probably make a great PGA game.

I haven't played TGC yet, but from what people are saying around here, it'd be nice for HB Studios to have a crack at it huh?

That's what I was thinking. I'm gonna buy the PS4 version of that game now that I'll be passing on Rory Arcade golf.
