Edit: Just read about Els on the first hole. Putting for par from 3 feet and ended up with a 10. Wha?

That's why I love recreational golf after the third miss someone would have just said "that was good" so we can all move on.

One of the guys in our group will pick guys puts up of they miss close ones and say "I'll pick it up before you hurt yourself." Definitely what I had in mind when I saw Ernie putting.

I just saw a headline on FoxSports site saying Bubba blamed the wind for missing a putt. Bubba.... unbutton that top collar once in a while.

Thing is the wind did blow that putt off line. He could have hit it firmer, but the wind did affect the putt.
