You guys that continue use that word really need to look up the definition of broken. The swing mechanic is not broken. I've used tour clubs exclusively, not had any issues. Actually went 18 holes last night without any bad swings.

I know what the term broken means. And i don't complain on forums about things unless I thoroughly vet it. I know i don't make perfect swings every time. I'm human. But when I know I do and everything on the feedback says I do besides the meter thing veering off 90 degrees there is something broken. heck I purposely tried to recreate the swing path and couldn't do it on my own. It happens too often to not be a glitch.

And I'm not complaining about it being hard. I like the challenge. It took me like 4 rounds to even start getting my tempo right and swing down to being consistent. But when making perfect tempo swings back/forward as well and it veers that far off something is up, For your sake i won't say broken anymore if that makes you happy but there is something going on out of my control and I've checked on my end and everything seems in place and it seems more than just a glitch.

You might want to report this on the HB forums. I believe you and I was curious what controller you had and how old is it?

I also believe you and have said the same thing. I'd like to get more time with the game though when the servers work correctly to ascertain if maybe some of this is the game or me.

You might want to report this on the HB forums. I believe you and I was curious what controller you had and how old is it?

I'm using DS4 controller that i bought in February. I'm also using a cable to connect it to the PC so there isn't any input lag.

Swing machanic is far from broken. Playing golf games for awhile too. Shot 15 over my first game with tour clubs, got it down to 3 over five or six rounds later. Practice is key.

So your saying, no adjusted shaping, and perfect tempo swings for both, AND the line is straight up and down in the red, it's going way left or right?

If this is the case, I think there is something weird going on for you. Maybe a controller issue more than game issue. I only say this because on PS4, I've been hitting straight balls unless my tempo is off or my swing is off.

Edit:: Reread and miss the 90 degrees part, I honestly would think that is a controlled issue more than anything. And not physically the controller but maybe the game is having issues with the DS4 on PC. Have you tried a different controller like an Xbox one?

If this is the case, I think there is something weird going on for you. Maybe a controller issue more than game issue. I only say this because on PS4, I've been hitting straight balls unless my tempo is off or my swing is off.

Yes no shot shaping, and i've calibrated the controller, it's fine. No other game does this, TGC1 doesn't do this. It's not the controller, i've used 2 different DS4's. Its the game. I make plenty of mis-swings and i get punished accordingly. I've checked everything on my side is good. I am a QA software testing engineer, I know how to test stuff properly and I know how to tell where to diagnose issue and problems to see if it's me or software. I've checked everything on my end. I've tried to recreate the veering off and I can't do it.

For example: if we are using a clock face to describe the swing, I go from 12-6 back and 6-12 forward with perfect/perfect tempo, most of the time we are good when it veers. it will veer from either 6-3 or 6-9 on the comeback, when I try to recreate that veer on my own the best I can do is 6-2 or 6-10. And I know my biggest personal tendency is going 6-11, I use the left stick swing btw, tried using right stick swing and I just suck at it and cant get it down. It's why I like the TGC because they do have the left stick swing.

The game keeps crashing after every 1st hole completed using a user created course (PS4).

Seems the fix is to reconnect then resume the game and then you can finish 18....


Initial thoughts if you like the 1st version you will love this one.

Loving the ability to change camera after the shot with d-pad.

Man the putting is sensitive on fast greens, takes some getting used to.

No one called you a liar. Come on man. I said it's not happening on the PS4. You need to read my post fully and reread because you obviously didn't understand what I said.

I clearly stated that maybe the DS4 controller has an issue on PC inside the game. I even stated maybe ITS A GAME ISSUE with the DS4. You didn't respond to my question about trying an Xbox controller to see. If you don't wanna try and trouble shoot the steps then you're not gonna get anywhere to pinpoint the problem, which you seem to just wanna blame the game. That's fine. But im out. Hope you get it working man. I really do.

The only way you are going to get any Dev to look into this is to post it in the Bug section of the forums and posting with a video demonstrating the issue you are seeing would be most beneficial.

You aren't going to get to a resolution by posting here. Clearly there is an issue here.

I've experienced it as well, and I'm pretty good at controlling the path of the analog stick. I have so much practice with this type of movement. Playing MLB the Show, batting with pure analog stride, and pitching with pure analog, I can control that stick like no other, and I get good feedback and funky results.

This...He's not alone, I've had perfect tempo/swing forward/back & the swing will veer 6-3 6-9 (PS4) I tried to create it as well. It surely wouldn't hurt for the developers to look into it.

That's what it was doing for me all night last night. That means you're about a shade or a few minutes away from being disconnected if it's like my experience. Sucks to hear it's still the case tonight because I was hoping to play.
