I am not trying to escalate or anything...I am just saying that including EA in here, a thread which is one that's asking for questions for 2K's devs, is seemingly against the guidelines set by the mods, and saying EA's game will look better is a sideways shot at the 2K devs, which is again against the rules set by the mods...

We have been having great conversation about the 2K info release...the kind of post here (and not even your post, actually, Volt) started this down the path we saw last week, injecting the other company into the other company's conversation.

That is all I am saying. I don't want all that to happen again.

OK, yes...I should not have publicly called this out. Apologies on that. But just know I was only trying to avoid a repeat of last week. I will refrain from saying any more on this and will move on, too.

I do have another question for the 2K devs...will societies be able to lock out or control the swing styles used in their events? For example, can a society say that it's only 3-click and lock out analog swings? And what about the various skill tree attributes and archetypes...can societies limit those as well and put everyone on the same level?

I don't recall that being asked, so I apologize if it was.

To build on this…I would love average scoring per hole on a given day during a tournament.

Strokes gained data would be really a cool addition as well.

Are any career mode and course statistics available?

For example:

-your best score at each individual course you played
-tournament winner and score for each event in career mode (what golfer won The Players Championship at Sawgrass in year 2023, 2024, etc.)
-personal trophy case of tournaments won
-your best finish at each tournament in career mode (i.e. finished T10 in 2023, 1st in 2024, 32nd in 2025, etc.).

Specifically, what events can be edited/swapped out in career mode? Is it only the non-major fake events? Or is it all fake events, including the made-up major tournaments?

It looks like the caddies and other players are only going to be seen in cut-views, when your player is "up". It's going to look a little bit awkward to me to see my caddie hand me a club in a cut-view, watch him move a couple of steps to the side, yet not be there where I can look over my shoulder to see him at address?

I never saw any of the other players, standing where they'd be standing, during or after my player's shot. It's just odd to me that they'd get all these other atmospheric treats thrown in, like caddie cut-views and gallery, only to have your player be the only member of your playing group's entourage visible during all the camera presentation work!? It honestly feels a bit broken to me. I guess they're argument is that it would require processing resources to render them, but I don't expect much detail in terms of animation to render them, but they at least should be animated enough to give the appearance of looking on??
