Still playing this awesome career mode. I recently started playing again. So I left off with me about to start the last major The Open Championship. Crazy part is...
I WON! My second career win on tour and it's my second major tournament win. So I won the US Open at LACC with a -12 score. Second place was -9. The Open Championship I won with a -14 score. Schauffele was second (-12). So both my wins were close. The US Open was close down to the last few holes. This one I had a bigger lead to begin the final round (-12 to start). But three rounds of 67 were enough of a cushion to hold on for the win, and my second major title which is crazy.
Next week I play the Kohler Open at Whistling Straits. I finished t-43 with score of -1. Skipped the Arizona Classic, then played the New England Championship and holy cow was that difficult for me. I shot +2 and actually missed the cut.
Finished up regular season with that. I'm 10 in the FedEx cup standings to begin the playoffs. #2 in the world as well after the win. Sam Burns of all people is world #1 in my career. Still season one lol.
I lowered my power back down so I'm not so far ahead on the average drive distance. My biggest gripe about the game is how poor the AI is with driving distance.
This game is still so so good for me. If 2k25 had the courses, presentation for career mode I'd buy it. But giving up all majors and then the way they rotate through the years is too much to give up for a career mode.
