Re: F1/IRL/All Other Forms of motorsports Thread

I'm being bored by the Indy 500 again...

It's just a boring track, IMO. The cars aren't even able to race side-by-side and it's pretty much a single-file race. And the passes that do happen are quick and usually on the straight stretches.

I always get excited about the 500, but I end up being disappointed. Ah well, hopefully the Coca-Cola 600 is better tonight and isn't like the first 90 laps of the All-Star Race last week.

Well that's how the 500 usually is, single filled racing.

IRL is in Milwaukee next, predictions?

Well T.K usually does pretty well there after INDY (He will win Indy one day) so I have to go with him.

Yeah, Gotta believe an Andretti/Green car is gonna end up in victory lane.

also in the Busch race, Jeffery Earnhardt is attempting to make his first race at Dover.

            Who's got $425,000 I can borrow?

Lou Gigliotti made a valiant run in the American Le Mans Series over the last year and half, but the cost of running in the series as well as several other factors have led to the decision to put up for sale the #28 Riley GT2 Corvette. Recently repaired from the fire at Long Beach, […]

Oh, I know, it's like that every year. I just don't like it. IRL is a lot more exciting at other tracks besides Indy, IMO.

Is it pay-per-view again this year? It was last year, but I found it free on HBO several weeks later and enjoyed it.

I won't watch it if it's pay-per-view, but if it's free, then I'll watch it.

I hope I can find an online stream. I'm house/dog sitting for my Mom, and she just has very basic cable so I can't even order it.

Scratch that. It's been postponed until September 9th due to weather.

Well it's a good thing I hadn't ordered it yet, but disappointed it's postponed.

Vettel on the pole for the Turkish GP.
Also looks like the race will not be shown live, as FOX is broadcasting it at the same time as the Pocono 500(if there is a race)
IRL is in Texas which to me is the most enjoyable race to watch in the IRL circuit.
