If you are struggling with them then on the hold a corner you can try and get your acceleration and cornering as high as possible with top speed next concern.
The slalom and 180 can be done the same way concentrating the same as above. Thats the best thing I can think of as the acceleration and cornering are key in getting around those quickly.Comment

Experience credits and bike setup is very important to completing challenges.
Most challenges are done from a standing start, so it would be a good idea for the most part to set to low gear ratio and also re-distribute your acquired experience credits mostly toward Acceleration and Cornering (like RustedWalleye pointed out). To do this, you will likely find it helpful to take most if not all experience credits away from Braking, with the possible exception of the "Follow the Leader" challenges. If you find that you don't even have a slight chance in completing a challenge that you're trying to accomplish, then you may have to play through the Grand Prix series first and earn more experience credits to build up your bike with, then try that particular challenge later with an improved (performance-wise) bike.
