Man, I guess depending on who you ask they would say it was a great race or a great mess.
OS Nationwide League Race #1 Summary: 100 lap race at Daytona- Danica took the Pole! But ended up in the back when it was all said and done!
- Bob (AMP#5 car) had the lead for a good part of the races but end up in the back because of a crucial mistake late in the race.
- Dan (Mario Kart #20 Car) was a victim of circumstances and also ended up finishing in the back. Also, a questionable non-pit decision rotated him all the way to the back and he didn't quite recover from there.
- Chad (Stanley #91 car) did a pretty darn good job working his way back to a top 3 finish after recovering from some bad luck early.
- Manny (#47 Car) didn't have the best car but ended up with a solid 2nd place finish. He battled with his car all day going and coming out of turns 1 and 2.
- We all led a lap and had cars that could win but in the end an AI took home the win at the inaugural OS League Daytona race!

video of the last green flag laps. starts from the lap 95 restart and ends after a battle to the start/finish line to the yellow flag. the race would end under yellow.
*at time of post video was still being processed, video quality should improve once it's done*

What nights and time will you guys be racing on? I'd love to get in if the start times aren't too late.

here is an alternate results sheet using a different points program. not sure if it'll work good on multiple races yet until we get more races done but it seems to work pretty well. took some work for it to not recongize the Keselowski brothers as the same person. lol

it also keeps track of other things(similar to the other program). some are wrong though(like top 5 starts, it looks to list total starts and not top 5 starting positions)

it also allows using the new points system that nascar uses where the winner gets more points for winning, if we wanted to use that system. in our first race, using the new system, Kasey would have 190 points instead of 180, while everyone else keeping the same amount of points(manny with 175 ect...), with the maximum point being 195 if you win and lead the most laps.Last edited by Solidice; 03-04-2010, 07:29 PM.Comment

We are going to shoot for 6pm PST, 7pm MTN, 8pm CNT on M-F! We usually post when we race.
We have been using the Grand National mod with Nationwide 2010 cars lately.

I'd liek to race with you all, but I can't really reliably race on weekday nights (especially that late), so it probably wouldn't work out. Maybe I'll jump on if you all are on on Friday or Saturday again, though.Comment

Testing at California last night went OK.
We are going to go with 97% AI Strength and 150 lap length. Also, the 05's driver/car ratings have now been fixed so he won't drive like a blind donkey!
