im sorry, but i am having major problems with the paint booth. Sweet cars by the way. How do you do outlined numbers evenly? (even outlines around the whole number) I want to do my numbers exactly like your Miller car, but #25. Thanks.

If your talking about making numbers with outlines...
I create a decal put the number up that you want in one layer. Then copy it 4-5x and make those 4-5 layers the color of your outline. Move the number you made initially to the top layer so it shows in front of the other numbers. Then move each color number: 1 up, 1 down, 1 left, 1 right and an extra if necessary for fill in. Move them out as far as you want your outline thick. You could even add a 6th number behind them all to make a number with outline and a drop shadow like Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon numbers.

Heres a post from earlier in the thread. Its pretty easy the way I do it but might not be the most efficient.

Based off of Bobby Allison's #12 Buick








Gonna make the Lemon Lime G series Recover car next... wont take long since Im just changing the color and text on quarter panel.

My next full scheme will most likely be an Advance Auto Parts car.

Thanks man! I still have some ideas. Not sure how many Ill actually do though. Been having too much fun racing online. Won about 30 of 40 races so far.
If you or anyone else has something in mind let me know. Im much more interested in making original paint schemes but throwbacks and/or current cars arent out the question.
Id also be willing to make the car and send it to you. So if you want an original design... just tell me the #, sponsor and color scheme if its not a throwback and Ill take it from there. Just keep in mind... you wouldnt be able to race with your current cars and would lose your online stats, career prorgress, etc. if you were to do so. However, you could start a career with that custom car and race online with it.

I've been looking at your Air Jordan car and was wondering if you could do a similar design based on my favorite part of Jordans. The Jordan XI. Here are two examples. The first choice would be with the white, second is the black. #23 Chevy.

My vision would be to have the white shoe as the base of the care with a black jumpman logo on the hood.

Dodge is fine. There isn't too many Dodges running in Sprint Cup these days so why not have the baddest ride out there. I don't care too much about my Career progress. I was on the 7th race when I rented the game and was running with Junior. This would make the game so much more enjoyable if I was running the Jordan XI car.

Brew, How do you get the outlines on the numbers so perfect? I can't get it right!

On a new layer create a decal. Choose the number you want and put that on the first layer. Copy that first layer 4 or 5 times but dont move them just yet. Color the bottom 4 or 5 layers the desired color of your outline.
Make sure the top layer is white or the desired color of the "fill" number which on my cars has been white every time. Now select one of the colored outlined layers and only move it slightly up so it appears as a line above the number... only move it as far out as thick as you want the outline. Do the same with all the other copied outline number layers except move them right, left, and down. It takes some eyeing up but if you move it correctly each number will line up to where it appears as an outline. Whatever you do dont move the outline layered number two directions ie up and left. Only move it one direction and use the other layers to do the same for other directions. Until you move all outline number layers to the correct positions the background numbers will look like a shadow of the number.

Hope I explained it clear enough. I dont have a very good camera phone so I rather not take pictures to show you. But, if you need more help and are on PS3 hit me up and Ill try to explain it better.
