I am just setting this thread up right now for the purpose of people sharing their iRacing vs their OS name. That way we can add each other on iRacing, and know who we are adding and racing with. If you want your name added to the list, just make a post below, and I will update it.

Hardly.

iRacing is a completely different beast. Unlike some of the other guys, I don't ever expect to win, because the guys I end up racing against are just stupid fast. I've had 1 win in like 40 starts, and that was 2 years ago when it first started.

Funny, because I knew Nick Neben's name from the iRacing boards, but didn't know he was kneebon . He's got the top dawg status in these parts, with almost 3600 iRating. Chaos81 is 2nd with almost 3K, and I'm way back with barely over like 2100.

Plus I haven't put nearly enough time in to work on setups, which you HAVE to do to compete in the 1st or 2nd split, so I'm constantly a guy who hovers somewhere between 5th to 10th most races.

I find it just as enjoyable to race clean, and stable.....then to sprint for 10 laps, while your tires are baking. We end up in the top 10 more times than not, not because we are awesome...but because we run a stable set-up, and drive clean. I have yet to cause a wreck of another driver, and am very proud of that.

Yeah, that's my goal each race. Just keep the nose clean. I will move up if a guy catches me and let him go, and end up frustrated when I catch back up to him 15 laps later and he blocks like crazy.

I'm ultra-conservative most races, and even then I still end up collected in somebody's mess way too often. I'm usually getting a 4x somewhere in a race from some yahoo clipping off a wall and me having nowhere to go.

But I really don't like the current method of driving around on the slip angle where you're in a constant drift. That's completely opposite of how I drive, so I'll never be super fast in iRacing. I just try to stay clean.
