ugh and my hdd crashed last week. i'm so on this when i get a new one. Terrry do you know if that wheel will work on a pc as well?

In response to this it is still very early in this game's lifespan. I imagine there will be edits and mods for this game that will allow him the ability to do pretty much everything he asked about.

That would require the developers leaving it open to do such, or implementing an option to use a customized roster/schedule, etc. They haven't shown me anything in the past that would lead me to believe they'd do this. Only using Gen6 cars for single races in Xbox 360 and not Career mode? Stuff like that doesn't make me think it will happen.

But sure, it's beta and it could all be allowed months from now--I am just not expecting it. Will they implement some setting where you could choose a driver list, and custom drivers, and change the schedule? Sure, but I'm skeptical to say the least.

It will work, with no FFB. It treats it as an XBox 360 controller (providing you have a wireless adapter to link wireless controllers to your PC), and no true FF in any PC game.

New build posted to Steam today, fixing numerous controller issues (My H-Pattern shifter now works!), as well as AI fixes and some graphical issues.

It's worth a download, because the 3 races I ran at lunch gave me zero frustration with control or AI, and even at Daytona the field spread way out within 2 laps, creating a very different experience.

I don't believe so. I've heard reports of users with multiple input devices locking up. I haven't tried multiple controllers yet, personally.

So this game is definetly NOT going to Playstation and XBox? That sucks because I play 2012 up in college and I only have a laptop that can't support games

It's already on 360 and PS3, as NTG: Inside Line.

This is basically an update to that game, and ported to PC.

Well, mentioning that in the initial post helps to avoid confusion.

The entire game is already on a console, except for that (fairly large) omission.

Beta is already 2x times better than the console game. AI is improved and unpredictable at times, no more slow cornering, pit problems are gone. Need to do more testing though. This one shapes up suprisingly well.

i read that a patch was released on 7-3 that added multiple controller support. can anyone confirm that a g27 and csp pedals will work? im reading on the ntg forums that ppl still have issues and dont want to buy it if this is the case. thanks for any info

I'm using the X360 wireless controller. I'm pretty sure that all the controller/wheel issues will be solved until the game hits Steam. I'm surpised by the dedication Eutechnyx devs show right now. Idk if the consoles architecture really limited them to do things right there with this title or it was their inexperience and incapability to develop this Nascar game with success on consoles.
