I think that's pretty much how this site positions itself. Notice the lack of an NHL Hitz forum in the hockey forums, or no NBA Jam, NBA Street or Ballers in the basketball forums. Same with MLB Slugfest in the baseball forums. I'm not saying there is absolutely no place to discuss games like those here but, like it or not, this site is geared more towards the sports-sim console gamer.

I believe the reason there are no forums for the games you mentioned above is because they do not generate much traffic in terms of discussion. It has nothing to do with the position this site is trying to take in the gaming world. You can easily discuss MLB Slugfest in the Baseball (Other) forum, NHL Hitz in the Hockey (Other) forum, and NBA Street, NBA Jam, and Ballers in the Basketball (Other) forum.Comment

Oh, I'm not saying the more "arcadish" games aren't discussed here at OS. Just like you can post messages about games like OOTP or even the good ole Sieera Pro Football games in their respective "Other" forums. But if it's the community here that dictates what kind of site this is, then I think this site and community definitely lean towards the sim-style console games. Just look at how many people post in the ESPN and Madden forums vs. the Football Other forums.Comment

Well, to remain popular, you must appeal to the masses. You can't fault Steve or OS because the members here would rather discuss ESPN and Madden over Blitz.Comment

Re: Our RalliSport Challenge 2 Review
"The bottom line is a review is an opinion, if you don't agree with it move on"
Yeah, I heard Madden was a decent football game, but since I personally don't like football games, that means Madden sucks, right? A lot of people seem to think Knights of the Old Republic is a fantastic RPG, but I don't like Star Wars: 2/5.
Anyway, it's a moot point, right? It's done. You posted it, you've put your name behind it, and despite it's absurdity you're going to let it stand. Of course, it makes you a laughing stock (at least in every forum I've seen discussing it), but that doesn't seem to bother you. Rather that seeing it for what it is (an embarrassment to this entire site), you seem to think it makes you hardcore.
As long as I'm visiting, here are some more quality Operation Sports™ Game Reviews (feel free to publish them):
Tetris: "Worst FPS ever. 0/5"
Half-Life: "They call this a golf game?? 0/5"
Final Fantasy: "Horrible physics! 0/5"Comment
