Well I tried unistalling and installing game over. It's all tied to your gamertag so didn't fix anything.

Here's a pic of what I see. No option for garage, no option to hit bumpers for saved setups either. I won't be able to win a damn race if I have to play on default setup every race will I???

Are you sure you have it in simulation mode? Or assists off? Or whatever they call it this year. That's the only game option that toggles setups that I'm aware of. If you drive with assists ON... no custom setups available. If you drive with assists OFF, you have the ability to modify setups. I'd check your options again.

Isn;t there an option somewhere under settings/controls or something that enables custom setups too? I'm not near my XB to see right now, but maybe check there too.

It's got to be an options thing, I doubt it's game data related, something to do with the settings in game somewhere.

Settings for quick race and my career. I can go back to default settings and still nothing.

The only "assist" is stability help. On or off is option there, and either way I still have no option. Really irritating me. I think I have a major bug or something.

There is on "simulation" setting either. It's Auto, Auto(easy), auto(hard), or custom, where you can manually adjust difficulty.

For career mode, it's the basic settings of Easy, Normal, Hard, and Legend.

I swear I was able to set up a car once and I restarted career and haven't seen option again. Idk what the hell happened but the game is pointless to play right now as is.

          Turn stability help off.

You have to turn Stability help to "OFF" in order to have custom setups available to you. That's the only way.

Awesome. I assume strict yellow flags means... more of them. So that's good.

I was wondering that about career with the rivals. I see the meters building up, but they never drop to this point. That surprised me, so the fact it looks like its coming in a patch is a good thing. I had a message from a driver once acknowledging that I was driving clean out there, but none of the anger levels dropped.

Thank you! I guess if I wanna go fast with better setups I'm gonna have to learn how to drive lol.

How do I get more yellow flags? I have hit the wall, spun around etc and no yellow.

I had read that the rival meter would drop by one level during the offseason (pre-patch). I'm really glad they are patching that.

Looking forward to the patch - sounds like some good stuff they're working on.

Anyone heard any details about what'll be in the next pass offering? Hoping for some more custom car templates or sponsor stickers etc. Also would LOVE to be able to change the colour of the outline on the number. Just a little thing, but it'd be nice.

I was shocked actually how few sponsor decals were available in the "paint booth" especially considering the amount of licensed sponsors they had to obtain to put in the game on all the drivers cars. I was happy to see 3 pages when I went into the booth, but only one being sponsors, the rest I assume... state flags? Odd...

So yeah, I'm with you. I'd love to see more sponsors, and more base paint schemes added, and yes, an option to change the number outline color. I actually like the paint booth, I get it, it's not full customization, but I never had the patience for that anyways. If they can add a bunch more designs to customize, it would be pretty awesome.

Dunno when you start getting MEC hot seat rides. I'm 22 races into my 1st full Xfinity season (1 win, 4 top 5's, 8 top 10's) with a 4-star team and haven't gotten one yet whereas I started getting Xfinity hot seat rides pretty early in my 1st season in CWTS. Maybe you have to be with a 5-star team as I was in Trucks to get hot seat rides?
                            ______

And apparently you start getting MEC Hot seat offers at the beginning of the 3rd season. Couple more things I've noticed that bugged me last year and are still present.

                            1. Seems like I'm doomed to finish 3rd in the standings every year when I make it to the Championship race at Homestead with a 5* team with Stability Control on just like I was last year when running with a maxed out car on Normal difficulty (6 such seasons and finished 3rd each time). 2 season running a 5* truck team and finished 3rd both times (Doesn't help that I always qualify in the back while the 3 guys I'm competing against qualify top 5/10).

                            2. User vs. CPU fuel consumption is still very unbalanced on plate tracks (Daytona/Talladega) (Stability control on, 13% races, 3x tires/fuel) such that I can run far more laps on fuel than the AI cars which leads to me being able to easily win races by needing 1 fewer stop than everyone else.

                            3. As has been mentioned, qualifying is way too hard (Again, stability control on, hard difficulty). I finished by 1st full Xfinity season with a 4* team and I had an average starting position of 36th while qualifying 40th in 22/33 races. Kinda makes it impossible to complete even the easy min-incentive things when one of them is qualify top 25 twice over 5 races (I managed that 3 times in 33 races).

Strangely I've found it the opposite. I'm o n legend and things have been too easy, both in qualifying and race. I'm in a 5 star car but the field is no where near me speed wise it seems in xfinity.

For out stops I believe that's a pit strategy by the cpu. The pit strategies are based on full length percentages to fuel percentage. I race 25% with 4x wear and no issue. They put 1 to 2 laps early but nothing that will be an issue. 3x and 2x wear is where I had major issues.

I feel like I am playing in Days of Thunder. Someone gets mad at you and they won't leave you alone. Every time you try to go by them they run you in the wall or off the track. I had 14 drivers mad at me and some of them I was never even near that I could recall. It's a little bit to much I think.
