Picked up a Wii yesterday. What are some good new games-not interested in the classics.

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion
Pretty sure Nintendo just puts up there old games. Might be wrong though. I know they started Wii Ware, but its all **** from what I have read. Again, I could easily be wrong here.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion
Are you asking about games on disc or just downloadable games? Like CS said, the downloadable games are classic games except some on WiiWare might be new.

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion
WiiWare games are all original stuff. I haven't checked any of thegames out though.
I seriously wish Nintendo would get off their *** and release some more and better VC games. Their back catalog of games is enormous yet they are releasing one and two games a week. And the last few months the games have been pathetic.Comment

I was curious if anybody here owns and uses a Wii zapper? I still need to get Zelda and if the zapper works well I would consider getting CoD 5: WaW as well.Lux y VeritasComment

I want to know when Harmonix is going to get their act together and put out the promised DLC for Rock Band 2. It really looks terrible when the box says 150 songs out by Holiday 2008.Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion
The VC is basically dead. They started focusing on terrible WiiWare games, and forgot the classic games. That and you get 5-6 games, and your memory is gone for the system.
I basically forgot this thing even has VC games at this point.Comment

yeah I haven't bought a VC game in a looong time. I was checking it out the other day and thought about buying Double Dragon, but I know I won't play it.

I got Toe Jam & Earl...I enjoyed playing it, but overall it just made me realize how it's better to let the past be the past. I remember it much more fondly than what it is now...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion
Is a Wii worth picking up? I was in the hype about a year ago but could not find one and never really wanted one after that. My brother n law just got one.My wife said my 3yr girl was playing it. She did the bowling and i believe the tennis with help.
Are there easy games for even a 3yr old can play? She knows how to work the mouse on the computer. She goes to NICK JR and plays all them games. So she knows how to play some games.
But i don't know if i want to spend that much money for a 3yr old to play. So are there anything out there that i would play?Comment
