That's why I went to two stores on launch right when they opened because I figured controllers would go fast. I got lucky and scored a remote/chuk combo at the first store I went to so that I didn't have to battle the masses at the second. It was a feeding frenzy at both. I'd say just keep calling stores on a regular basis. You could also try to make friends with a clerk at an EB or Gamestop and see if they'll hold one for you.

I hadn't seen anything in Knoxville, but down here in Atlanta, I went into a Target and they had like 5 or 6 classic controllers. I was tempted to buy them all and put them on ebay, but I didn't think the profit would be worth it. Guess I was wrong.

Received my Zelda game today. So far I love the box. Let you know about the game when I get a system

UPDATE:
Worried that I wouldn't be able to get an extra nunchuck(sp) with the system I actually got lucky on Ebay. 19.99 with 10.00 shipping. Not bad considering what they've been going for. Paid a little extra but not much.
Now all that's left is the system.

I just downloaded a few virtual console games. They downloaded superfast and then I realized you can turn the wiimote sideways and use it like a controller which I found to very, very cool. Great idea by nintendo.

This card is fully compatible with the Wii? Are there risks associated with second party hardware with the Wii as there sometimes are with other consoles, especially memory devices?

What else are these used for?

I assume to use them with a computer you need some sort of adapter? I gather they can also be used for digital cameras, as per some info in one of the reviews...

You can use them w/ digital camera. With the Wii, you can save MP3's on it which music can stream while playing games, place pictures to view on the tv through Wii, save games.

SD cards can be used with digital cameras, handheld PCs, digital music players, and anything else that features an SD-compliant slot. The Wii went ahead and got rid of the first party memory packs this time and I think its a great idea to have an SD slot to upload pictures, music, etc. But you should be fine with the internal flash memory that comes with the Wii though.
