Is 2.10 out? I still need to get 2.0 on there.
2.10 is on my system already.

I figured it out. I had to change a few router settings.

The PS3 version is very different. I didn't really like it at first but it grew on me. I'm not sure what to say about the patch. As soon as I went into the Lobby it downloaded it. If you have a hard time lobbing passes, you probably didn't get it. If you can throw a pretty arc without much trouble, you have it already.

Here's a quick how too courtesy of Kay of neo gaf.

You can download directly from stage6.com from your ps3, here is the direction.

All you need to do is edit the link.

so, let's say you went to the page where the movie should appear, this is what the url looks like

                  change that to:

                  it works pretty damn good.

Their are other sites for movies but I think posting is in violation of OS policy.

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II

Question on ventilation...I've got my PS3 on a shelf in an entertainment center. No cover in the front, and it's got over 3" of space on the top, left, and right (more like 5+ inches space). The back of this shelf is covered, and I notice that it can feel a little warmer in there after watching a movie or something.

My DVR is on a 2nd shelf exactly the same as the one I am talking about, and I haven't had any issues with that.

I know it's natural for these things to get warm, just didn't know if it's fully necessary to have the open back on this shelf. I can't easily put it elsewhere because I'm limited to HDMI cable length, and I don't want to buy a longer one (not cheap).

Anyone else been using their PS3 on a shelf and been ok? Should I cut out the particle board type backing on this shelf?

*edit* It was a lot easier pulling out the backing, plus it allows my cables to not have to run through a tiny hole, so I just yanked that out....if this isn't enough ventilation then there's a problem lol

It is in one of the settings, but off hand I can't remember sorry.

I think it was system settings, something like "Auto boot Disc"...I turned it off too, prefer going to a dashboard and starting the game/movie myself

I had even less space on the sides then you, I left the particle board in tact in the rear and used the system stacker, linked below, and left the PS3 on the bottom shelf with my DVR on the top shelf and even though it got warm the thing never gave me a problem. The PS3 seems to have little to zero issues with heat, I would watch movies and play games consistently and never have any problems, here is the system stacker Im talking about...

I love houw much easier it has been to stream my music and videos from my notebook than it is on the 360. I still haven't figured it out on my 360.

Yeah, you can either set the option to always boot to the XMB or you can hold down any button during startup and it will goto the XMB; your choice.
