I am getting the same issues. I was just starting to get going a bit in MAG too finally.

Oddly enough, I can play Fallout 3 without a problem but I can't get MW2 to work for single player at all. I even tried disconnecting the ethernet cable and I got the same error. Weird.

what models do you have? I have an 80GB.

I can't imagine its system specific, but never hurts to check.

I've got the classic 60 GB. Also, Sony's website for the PS3 might be the worst website. I can barely get it loaded and when it does finally load, it is pretty messed up.

that's sounds like my issue, I can log into the PSN, but I can't download anything, I get a message about activation.

Their website is down now...........they had a new site launch today, so I bet that is part of it.

I can't play any of my downloaded games on my psp, it says the system needs to be activated, when I try to activate I get an error code.

Same for me. The website is a plain white background and most images aren't loading.

I was able to start Madden. Haven't tried any other games yet.

If so I feel a lot better... thought I was due for a long customer service call with them tomorrow.

Getting the same damn error code. Hopefully they get this fixed quickly as I was hoping to squeeze in a little time on the PS3 before my other half gets home from work tonight.

I can't log into PSN either I was able to about a hour and a half ago now I can't. Whenever I turn on my PS3 it immediately says, "You have been signed out of Playstation network error 8001050F." I can get onto the internet browser on my playstation though but just can't play any games online or go to the playstation store or anything. My connection is enabled also. Glad its not just me hopefully this is fixed soon.

Yeah, I'm having this same problem, but I also couldn't get MLB 09 to load up. Madden would but MLB 09 no. Never had a problem with the game before this.

I'm not sure I approve of offline games requiring a PS3 network check to function. That's some BS right there.
