In the end, The Last Guy is an outstanding title that's challenging, funny, and fresh. Yes, it's a download and it's rather simple looking, but once you get your hands on the controls and get to the point where you've tanked for the fifth time in a row and are plotting a path on the map overview before your next deployment, you'll know why this game rocks. Plain and simple, The Last Guy deserves to have a place on your hard drive.

The demo was kind of stale, but I can see the regular game having some more depth and replay value, or a means for more creative thinking.

I'm addicted to the last guy, its like a modern day pac man to me. The demo doesn't do this game justice at all. You start off in San fran fishersman wharf, instantly recognizable and not too many monsters, then you go to santa fe followed by the DC Mall and each level the difficulty is raised with more monsters less escape routes and the race against time. I would give it an 8.

But it is supremely fun for pick up and play.

I love what Sony is doing with games on PSN. They may have less releases than on 360 but the games are usually original and are quality games. As soon as I can possible find a PSN points card I will add some more funds to my wallet so that I can get this game and probably the R&C expansion.

I also love that I don't think one game has been more than $10, whereas M$ seems to be pricing their games awfully high recently. It just seems to me that M$ is just trying to keep gradually pushing the envelope in terms of pricing to see what the breaking point is for the consumer. I broke down and bought Braid for $15. And while I thought the game was very good I just think anything more than $10 for a downloadable game is overkill. I refuse to pay $15 again which is why I'm not even thinking twice about Castle Cashers.

It just seems to me that the only thing M$ cares about is money. Now I know they are a business and the number one priority of a business is to make money. But I also know that when it comes to business your customers are also top priority. It just doesn't seem that is the case with them. They completely abandoned the original Xbox customers and then they continue to gouge consumers with Marketplace pricing from Arcade games to DLC. It's just getting old.

Ok, I'm done venting.

I feel you on that Raven. I never get Arcade games, just don't see the value in them. I don't really make sense though, as I pay $60 for a regular game that I usualluy stop playing in about 2 weeks.
