That's tempting...I know TS was a given, but PD was tempting and don't know much about Scrap Metal...

          The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile Announced

Ska Studios today proudly unveiled their latest project, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, and confirmed that it will release “when it’s done” exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, the premier destination for downloadable games. Additionally, it was announced that The Dishwasher fans will be able to experience Vampire Smile at the Ska Studios booth during the PAX East expo that is taking place March 26-28 in Boston.

The followup to 2009’s Dead Samurai, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is a combo-fueled, fast-paced, stylistic 2D action platformer that features the series’ staple gritty, graphic novel-inspired art style, built on a brand new engine that allows for an even more visually gruesome experience. Gamers will wield new weapons like the Violence Hammer, whose business end consists of a section of girder wrapped in barbed wire and random hardware, and the Painkiller, a six foot long syringe. The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile comes with two solo character campaigns as well as a co-op campaign, 50 quick arcade challenges and an endless Dish Challenge.

“Put simply, we are taking The Dishwasher to a bigger, better and more badass level,” said Ska Studios founder James Silva. “Fluid animation, insane combos, disturbing weapons and creeping mental illness are set to collide in a very bad way when this game launches.”

New Twisted Pixel game sounds cool.

            First Details: Comic Jumper

Last year fresh new developer Twisted Pixel delivered two great games to Xbox Live Arcade: The Maw and 'Splosion Man. For its next trick, the studio is prepping what it calls a "comedy shooter" named Comic Jumper. A 2D action game taking place in comic books, we are immediately reminded of the SEGA Genesis title Comix Zone. Comic Jumper apparently takes more inspiration from games like Contra and Gunstar Heroes, though. It was unveiled with a trailer at the Penny Arcade Expo last summer, but we haven't heard much about Comic Jumper since then. Today, Twisted Pixel is here to change that.

What follows are tons and tons of details on what we can expect from Comic Jumper, straight from the developer's mouth. Comic Jumper has more characters and content than The Maw and 'Splosion Man combined, so there is plenty to talk about.

So far, Zune Movie Rentals on 360 get a big giant FAIL from me.

I purchased the HD version of The Box to watch tonight....2 hours ago.

I'm now at 44% downloaded and still can't watch it.

I'm fairly certain continents move faster than this crap does.

Why didn't you stream it? I stream all of the Zune HD stuff that I've watched.

and that movie was a big pile of awful, so consider yourself lucky

                          Perfect Dark XBLA Interview

Nick: In the original N64 game, the classic weapons (based on GoldenEye guns) could only be used in single player. We’ve brought them into multiplayer as a series of Classic weapon sets, so players can now use the GoldenEye weapons on GoldenEye levels for the first time since, er, GoldenEye.

It’s no good supporting LIVE if you can’t find someone to play against, so the game supports a variety of matchmaking scenarios across both Solo and Team modes. In addition, Private Custom Games are supported so you can set up that painfully obscure game scenario you used to play with your friends all those years ago.

Aside from the boost to eight players, the game engine now runs at a solid 60 frames per second at 1080p. This makes a big difference, particularly in four-player split-screen where players can now have more resolution in their split-screen game window than they did in the original N64 single player game!

                                Puzzle Quest 2 Blowout

This is the "true" sequel to Puzzle Quest, whereas Galactrix was its-own-but-similar thing branded with the Puzzle Quest name. The match-three game here is definitely classic PQ, but the story and characters are entirely new.
