I hope they get this crap sorted out soon, its getting very annoying that this new update is much more dependent on an internet connection for the dashboard.

Before, even if LIVE was down the main blade would show up and you can get into your game. Now, I have to tab over to the Media blade where nothing is trying to load so I can load the game. Yes, this is starting to royally piss me off.

so that's what you do? I didn't even look at that tab, as they were all loading. I guess they changed that. This pisses me off, as I was playing the orange box, paused to send a message, and my 360 locked up. Couldn't save or anything.

nice to know I pay for this inconvenience.

I played a game of APF this evening (I rented it) before I played the game everything was loading and not working but when I finished it took a while but finally connected.

I was able to get my trailer for GTA IV so least i'm happy for now. I sure hope these inconveniences are typical of the X360 experience.

I'm have a ton of problems PLUS my gamertag can not be properly recovered due to the fact that it can't connect.


You guys know how bad this is for me. I have ALL my edits within my tomba321 gamertag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, this is absolutely ridiculous and MS should be embarrassed of themselves that we are going on almost 4 weeks of this mess.

I've only had my X360 since xmas day and these problems have only cropped up late last night and today for me.

Yeah...Not being able to log on at all has only been an issue the past day or so....but over the Christmas season there has been a bit of slowdown due to all the new members, I think it was just pushed over the edge yesterday.

I never recover my Gamertag, but i think issues there had been going on a while

4 weeks?? I've only had problems the past couple days...

I've only had my X360 since xmas day and these problems have only cropped up late last night and today for me.

Ever since the Fall update, I've had nothing but these logging in issues. I think the update hit 12/10 or before that.....so almost 4 weeks.

Are you guys having problems playing your games period? I disconnected my internet cable so it wouldnt even try to connect and everything worked fine. I know that doesnt help those that want to play online, but somethings better than nothing I guess.

I'll probably try to connect online tomorrow and join you guys in frustration.

The problem is is that I can't play ANY of my games now

I can't finish Assasins Creed can't continue mass effect and i sure cant finish my edits of MM08/NBA Live 08 and 2k8 CH and NBA!

So if you disconnect your console from the internet, you still cant play games? That sounds like you may have something wrong with your system. Maybe i'm no understanding you.
