No announcement yet but the 80gb model is pretty much dead and it won't be long before they announce a new one. Even though GDC isn't for announcements, everyone thought yesterday was when it was going to be announced.

Well after 3 hours of calling stores and looking on the web I finally found find a 80gb model at Toys R Us in Annapolis. I'm still waiting for my HDMI cable from Monoprice to show up so I can hook this bad boy up. I cant wait for the SHOW and to check out Uncharted.

Also, I order this PS3 remote for movies. Anybody else have this one....

Thanks to the suggestions from you guys I picked up Uncharted last night and man I can't put it down. It is frickin' amazing! I really appreciate the suggestion.

Also, I hear alot of people talking about this "Home" deal and I'm in the dark about it. I have no clue what it is. Does someone mind filling me in? Thanks.

Home is a 3D avatar based environment. It will be the PS3’s social interface, you can buy and customize a home, walk around town, go into an arcade and play games, watch video clips from a movie theater etc.

It’s in beta now, was supposed to be out a few months back…so hopefully soon

Yep. It will also have a accomplishment/trophy system similar to that of achievements in the 360 except 3D like.

It is scheduled to released Spring 08 and a open beta should be soon.

I tried to DL the CH demo and Live demo but when i scroll over to the little box with their pics on it, I can't select them.

That sounds like you are doing everything right... You just sign up with a PSN account, and go to the store. Sometimes the first click in the store doesn't work so you have to click it again. Up in the top right corner, you should see a little circle thingy rotating letting you know that a page is loading in the store. After you click the demo or whatever from the store page, it should take you to another page that shows the price (free) and have a download button on the page. But it sounds like you are doing the right things.

Another game you may want to consider is PAIN. It's pretty much a pointless game but a HELLUVA LOT OF FUN !!!! It's available on the PS store for a reasonable price.

Not sure if there are any Northern AZ guys on here who may be looking for a PS3 60gb, but Hastings has an add out. Surprised me actually. If I hadn't just bought an electric guitar and amp, I might be tempted for the backward compatibility.

Is there a limit on the number of friends you can have on your friends list? I know XBox had a limit and that was kind of frustrating.

Rumor is once Home launches there will be no limit. That or it will be increased.
