Got a PS3 and I love it. I've been playing NBA 2k8 and CH2k8 exclusively on my PS3. Last night my buddy came over and brought his NBA 2k8 for 360. We put it in and it seems to run much smoother on the my 360. Am I just seeing things? Still love my PS3 and I won't be changing over my dynasties but it kind of sucks to have seen the other side.

I have both systems and NCAA Football 08 and College Hoops 2K8 for both. I like both games much better on the 360 but I prefer the PS3 controls. Try MLB for the PS3. Last year's game definitely validated the PS3 purchase for me.

Rumor is once Home launches there will be no limit. That or it will be increased.

Got an email from the Home team, they are encouraging all home beta testers to be online wed. from 7pm to 9pm pst for the new features/stress test.

Not that my friends list is useful for anything at this moment though. Over a year of the most useless PS3 feature. LOL

quick question...i'm playing on a 22' HP w2207 monitor...on uncharted, the game covers the whole screen, but (without any changes) the show demo has black bars on all sides. any idea why?

I have a Sharp lc-42d64u…the show does this for me too, only game that does it. If I go into settings and move the horizontal and vertical image size sliders to max it fits my picture perfectly, it asks if I want it to remember the settings...and it never does

yeah, all it has is their name and icon. Besides a pointless profile, you can only see when they're online. Can't see what games they play or have played.

It's laughable how horrible it is compared to Live. I'm not too excited about Home, so I guess it'll stay the same for people who don't get into that virtual world stuff. I'd rather have a XMB lobby tab, where friends can meet, chat with headsets, and jump into games together. That would be out already if they didn't feel the need to force the virtual world stuff on top of those simple features.

That would be really nice. That's the one thing I've missed about the 360 since trading it in—the ease of communicating/playing with friends was remarkable.

Yeah and we found out the hard way yesterday when playing COD online.

That is the one thing that is really holding them back.

Everyone wants in game XMB (the cross media bar) so we can do friends invites, send messages, read messages, etc. It was a joke about that.

When I turn on my PS3 my controller defaults to controller 2 everytime and I have to change it to controller1. I have the Nyko USB thing plugged in all the time, is that taking over controller 1? Anyone have any ideas?

Have you made sure the other one is off?

yeah fishepa, thats exactly your problem. I have the logitech precision controller pluged in mine and have to turn it off to use the sixaxis for controller 1.
