To be completely off topic, I just got myself Drake's Fortune, and after playing through it for about 30 minutes or so, I have a couple complaints. (nothing major)

When swimming, Nate dries off incredibly fast. It's like he has internal towels.

Also, when you come out of the water, Nate's hair isn't wet and pulled down to his head. It remains spiked as if he never stuck his head under the water.

lol When these are the complaints you have, you know the game is spectacular.

BTW, I noticed the same things. They could have alleviated the second by just have his hair wet and messy until you stop and then give him an idle animation that fixes his hair. I'm sure someone would complain about it though.

There aren't really must buy accessories for the PS3 I don't think. I have a few though that I bought though. I originally bought the PS3 Blu-ray remote, but I replaced it with the Nyko PS3 remote because it has an IR USB receiver so I can use my Harmony remote to control my PS3 (except power on/off). I also bought a USB thumbpad for text chatting with people why playing games (mainly Hot Shots Golf). I also have a Nyko charging station for my 3 controllers.

Guys, are there any must-have peripherals I need to pick up Wednesday night for the PS3? Do I need a charger kit for the controllers or whatever like the 360? Or does the PS3 have some way of charging my controller out of the box (do the controllers use regular batteries or what?)?

Also, anyone use the Madcatz remote control, the Bluwave? It's $9.99 on gamestop's site and I was thinking of saving a little money and getting that instead of the "official" PS3 one.

I just don't want to go to use everything Thursday after work and realize i'm missing xxxxxxx and have to go back out to Gamestop.

Ok, well just an out of left field question - does the 80gig Metal Gear Solid PS3 have any USB ports on the back? That's one complaint i've seen about PS3 reviews I read but most of the reviews I read were from back in 2007.

Nope, every USB port is in the front. I wish it had at least 1 in the back for the camera.

Remember the 80 GB PS3 with MGS is exactly the same 80 GB version that has been out awhile.

ODOGG, perhaps a wise inverstment for you would be one of the usb hubs where you can plug in 4 things into one spot. also, you asked about the headset. I know the ps2 mics do work on the ps3(you have to turn them on in the settings first though). I use a bluetooth and I think it's good but there not that loud even at the highest settings. Perhaps going dowbn to your local cell phone store and testing some headsets out.

I actually have a little thingamabob where you plug in 4 things and it all goes into 1 USB port.

I work for T-Mobile and since I've been here 3 years I get any phone at 40% off (if I was here for 5 it'd be free) so I guess I need to go to a store and look into getting a phone and headset to match. It's pretty ironic really that I work for T-Mobile and don't have a cell phone (I do have a pay-as-you-go Virgin phone but I don't use it).

2 MORE DAYS. The empty space in my entertainment center mocks me!!

Thanks, that's what most people have said - that those 2 games are the best to have. Someone on Utopia said it was easy to get rosters for the Choops game.....it has a roster share or something? Can you add any insight to that?

Also, is there a way I can find out what nicknames are available (or aren't) on the PSN?

Yeah it is 1080p Samsung. I have my 360 on the VGA input. Looks great.

It has 2KShare, all you do is load it up while connected online and you can download rosters from there..

How do I know what rosters to get, don't you have to pick a certain person's roster set? Or am I thinking too much like EA's locker feature or something?

Yeah, its a certain persons, for PS3, crques has a good set...
