OK guys, I've read through the last couple of pages but just want to get a little clarification on some things.
Playing NHL09 today and the ps3 shuts off. Try to turn it on and the light turns green, then yellow, then flashing red.
I think I want to buy a new 80 GB since I don't want to send it to Sony and possibly not get it back for a few weeks.
So, here are my questions. If you guys could answer them, I would greatly appreciate it.
1. Can I take my 60 GB hard drive out and put it in the ps3 that I bought? If so, should I do that before I turn on the new ps3 for the 1st time or later?
2. If I can't move my 60 GB drive to the new ps3 machine, is there any other way to get the files back?
3. I'm not really concerned with the 1 game I had downloaded (bowling) but are my Rock Band DLC, exported AC/DC, and UFC DLC fighters lost or can I re-download them?
4. Is there any way to get NHL 09 out of the system? Sucks that it is just sitting in there.
5. When I buy a new system, is there a better place to buy a warranty from? I was searching for somewhere that would do a switch or in house fixing of the system.
Sorry about the questions, I'm just really bummed that this happened.
