From day one, I'm sorry I don't remember it being that big of a deal in it's first year, the 360 has been out for 3 years now. I don't remember much going on in it's first year. Look it up. Where's part one, How can I see when the first problem that OS users reported on the part one side, is it still possible to view?

I'm sorry dog but... them 360's were breaking from the day it launched... I remember sage's joint came out the box RROD... luckily or me, mine lasted almost 2 years before caving in.

FF... MGS4 comes out tomorrow.... Seriously though... what was your point? It seems like you're comparing the two when it really isn't comparable.

As a side rant... the build process of electronics seems to be getting worse and worse. Major items just continue to be plagued in some way with a defect, causing us, the consumer, to have to deal with the issues and "hope" the company will own up to their product.

As to what is on the horizon?

Socom, LittleBig Planet, GT5, Resistance2, GoW3, FFXIII, Home, Firmware updates with in-game XMB and YouTube direct uploads....

But I'm still as excited as ever for Gears2.

But I'm still as excited as ever for Gears2.

My point was that both system have games coming out worthy of owning. The only game out of that list that is sometihinf to brag about is GOW3 IMO. The reason for me going back to MS is sports gaming. I just think that the sports games play better and will contine to play better on the 360. It's my opinion but I'm a sports gamer, and I think the 360 is the better system for sports games.

How does your theory on how long the consoles were out have to do with what's worth owning on each console?

And, this is just my opinion, as long as The Show is exclusive on the PS3 I don't think sports gaming on the 360 is justified, especially since most of EA's and 2k's titles are on par for both consoles from this point on.

I've read many stories from gamers moving from the 360's reliability issues to the PS3 simply because they are a sports gamer and they can get all those titles on the PS3 as well.

Honestly... that's one of the strangest reasons for switching I've ever heard. Especially since you don't have XBL Gold.

If you're a sports gamer mainly, PS3 is where it is to be... especially if you're into baseball. NBA 2K8 and CH 2K8 were identical on both consoles, if anything 2K games felt more responsive on the PS3.

EA games were behind but the news is NCAA 09 and Madden are identical so no problems here.

If anything sports gaming is better on the PS3. You also get The Show as I mentioned and the NBA series by SCEA. NBA has struggled but this year is suppose to be their year. Either way, you have two titles and one of them is sports game of the year.

With all the other exclusives Pared mentioned. Little Big Planet will be huge... Killzone 2 also hits in Feb 09.

Also WarDevil is looking crazy.

R* is also developing a exclusive game for PS3. There is plenty to look forward to.

I had my ps3 fixed 6mths ago for this problem, and it happened again...anyone else have this happen more than once??? I'm 1 mth out of the 1yr warranty and don't want to pay $150 to get it repaired again. Any one have suggestions on what I can do?
