Do you own a PS3 and Xbox 360?

I was thinking about how many people on the OS boards who own both a 360 and a PS3 (and a Wii I assume). It got me to wondering how many people in past game generations owned both systems, i.e., Xbox/PS2, PS1/Saturn, SNES/Sega, Atari.Intellivision...at the same time.

I own both current gen. systems, but never before owning competing systems at the same time, nor even thinking of doing so. Now of course, the majority of my gaming years were done without a gaming board so this situation never crossed my mind. I had a system (Atari, Sega, Ps1, Ps2), I played the system, and never wondered or cared about how good the other one was.

So, how many of you out there have owned both systems, at the same time?

I've owned a PS2/Xbox.

Also owned a PS3/360 till I dropped the 360 a few months back.

I've owned them all, and seemingly always had multiple systems at a time. I had a SNES/Genesis, then the 3DO at some point in there, more around PS1 time I believe. Had the Saturn, N64, etc.

I have both a 360 and PS3. I also had a Wii but sold it because I never played it.

Going all the way back to the Atari days, I've never owned two systems at once.

I'm not a big brand-loyalty guy, but if I buy something, I'll be loyal to it until something better comes along. (E.g., I'm not loyal to Sony, per se, but I'll be loyal to the PS3 until the next gen comes around; was loyal to the Genesis until PS1, was loyal to the PS2 until 360, etc.)

I own both as well... but if it wasn't for stupid Gears of War, I would only own a PS3.

The only time I had two comparable systems was the PS2 and XBox and I didn't buy the XBox until after I bought a HDTV in order to get the better graphics out of the games. For me, I see no purpose in having a 360 in addition to the PS3. I do have a Wii, but I don't see that as a comparable system to the PS3.

i own both right now the only problem i have is tryin to adjust to the controller going back and forth

games playin on the ps3 recently: mlb 08 and mgs4 online
games playin on the 360 recently: cod4, rainbow six 2, nba 2k8

Debating whether to get ncaa09 on either the ps3 or 360. i guess i wait for the reviews first.

i owned a PS1 and N64 at the same time, not sure if those are comparable. played the PS1 more.

i then owned the PS2 and Xbox, but after Xbox live came out in '02, i never played the PS2 again, except to play the GT series(then only till Forza Motorsports came out).

for current-gen, I only have the 360. I don't see a need to get a PS3 at the moment, i don't need a blu-ray player, i prefer Xbox live over PSN, and most games i play are either cross platform, on the PC, or a xbox exclusive game.

All of the above minus a sick computer. Also had a sega genesis, 32x, xbox 1, and original NES.

currently have ps3 and 360. admittedly, the ps3 is almost exclusively for blu ray playing.

I own both PS3 and 360 right now. I had a PS2, and ws a very late adopter of the original XBOX. There are exclusive games (Metal Gear and Fable) that i love and made me want both systems. Its always tough though when cross platform games come out......

I owned a PS2/Xbox/Gamecube but dont have any of them anymore. Had 360/PS3/Wii until I sold the 360 a month or so ago. Had a N64 but it was really late in the cycle, didnt have a Super Nintendo until the PS2 was already out and bought it to mess around on, had a Genesis but got rid of that, had NES but got rid of that as well. Been thinking about picking up a top loader NES and SNES but havent gotten around to looking for one as of yet.
